Agatha Harness wasn't a hero. She would easily admit that. She wasn't a villain either. The spell could be undone, but only under certain conditions. Her actions might have been self-serving, but she was the victim in this situation. Agatha had never asked to be chased down, simply because she had the bad idea of using a little magic. Plus, they had no choice but to accept whatever she demanded since she held all the cards. The woman was fully aware of her advantage.

"Kamar-Taj cannot pursue me for that. I haven't transgressed any laws. I was defending myself."

"If you break the spell, it will effectively erase the events that occurred. Af if nothing had happened. We'll just make sure that this doesn't happen again. We wouldn't want to create a time loop." Wong replied in his usual composed manner and prepared to find a positive solution for everyone.

"I want to remember."

At first, the words were whispered, but then they grew louder until everyone could hear them. The group turned towards Laura, each with their own reaction. Tony's expression made it clear that he was in the same frame of mind. He had discovered a lot about who he was and what he truly desired in life. Family had never been a priority for him, even when he was in a committed relationship with Pepper. Everything had changed. The very thought of living without Laura and the kids seemed to him to be the worst kind of torture he could think of, and sadly, Tony knew a thing or two about torture.

Wong wanted for everybody to forget everything that had happened. Perhaps this wasn't a bad solution. Perhaps they could simply return to the life they had been living before. The idea of simply moving on sounded too cruel at that moment.

Clint, on the other hand, wanted that every single detail of that experience be forgotten. Jealousy was written all over his face. However, if they simply went back to the way things were, Laura would never have the opportunity to get to know the genius better and fall for the man completely. Clint wasn't sure that his wife loved Stark but she certainly believed his lies. If they were to go back to their original timeline, she would remain the faithful wife she had always been.

They were called the Rogues since the Civil War but they had been doing a lot of good despite everything. Arresting Agatha Harkness would have been the right thing to do for everyone. That woman was clearly only using her powers for her own benefit. Shield had always had the right idea in wanting to put those people away, if only to make sure they would be on the right side of the roaring rapids. Steve Rogers and the rest of the team would be reinstated pretty soon. If the Avengers were unable to protect the people properly, the world would come to the conclusion that the accords weren't a good idea.

The governments also had their agendas that rarely aligned to what their people really needed. Steve had been right to go against the accords. The Avengers should have always been neutral. They should not care about politics. Captain America knew what was right. Soon the world would come to understand that. Their lives were about to return to normal, and Clint would be able to reunite with his family. At least, for a while.

Agatha seemed to believe that each member of the Avengers should remember whatever experiences they had been through during the swap. There was nothing wrong with walking a mile in another person's shoes to better understand their point of views. There was a way to grow into a better person, and there was always room for development. Always. This was an excellent argument that was hard to refute.

Ultimately, they were three against two in favour of the decision. One and a half really, because Wong didn't seem that bothered in any case. As a member of Kamar-Taj, Wong had a duty to bring up the matter. The timeline had to be protected, and so on. He also recognized that minor modifications would have no effect on the big picture. They would not jeopardise a Nexus event, and Wong, in their shoes, would quite frankly want to remember.
