Pandora - 2170
"Bridge, now," you said as you turned to Spider, who's heart rate was speeding up by the second. You could practically hear the scared thumping in his chest.
He looked up at you before back out at the sea.
Boats and subs were already on their way out to hunt down the people he grew up with. The people who were practically his family. His brothers and sisters.
After standing there for a second, he reluctantly turned around and started back up the stairs to the bridge.
You followed closely behind him as voices clogged your ears, along with the enhances sounds of the ocean. The sounds of the boats, the giant SeaDragon's engine that sounded like the breathing of a beast, and leaves...
Leaves rustling in the wind.
You closed your eyes and when you opened them, the warm sweet air of home filled your nose. Wind blowing on your face as sweat ran down your forehead.
The sun peaked through green leaves of oak trees as tall grass tickled your legs.
A dog barked and when you turned around, home was there. You could feel home. It wasn't a dream anymore.
When you blinked again, however, home was gone, and instead you were looking at Quaritch flying around on his Ikran.
You shook your head and held your ears as you turned back around, but the voices wouldn't stop. It was starting to hurt.
"Are you alright?" Spider asked when he seen your discombobulated state.
"Walk," you instructed as you pushed through the pain and escorted him all the way back to the Bridge.
"You will be the bridge to saving humanity. All the hopes and dreams of the past, live within you now."
"What do you want from me?" You blurted out as you held your arms to try to calm down.
"Y/n!" Spider yelled as you started backing up towards the edge of the stairs.
He quickly grabbed your arm and pulled you away from the edge as you opened your eyes to look at him.
Fear.
That's all that he seen in your eyes.
There was also something else though. It was the look of a little girl. A scared little girl who wanted to go home.
A little girl who wanted all this pain and suffering to end.
As fast as the fear crossed your features though, it just as quickly was replaced by a stoic expression. A mask.
"Bridge," you instructed him once more as he slowly walked passed you and into the doors.
You, however, stayed outside and watched the horizon.

As you watched the Ikrans in the distance, you noticed both Lyle and Miles dive into the water.
You straightened up and squinted before they emerged again with a net, and there was someone inside it.
As you made your way down to the lower deck with the rest of the Recoms, Miles's Ikran dropped the net and three Na'vi children emerged from it.
