Chapter Two: An Unexpected Date

The day arrived when Lan Zhan and his family journeyed to Yunmeng Jiang to visit the Jiang family. Their arrival brought an air of anticipation and excitement to the household, as everyone prepared for the meeting of the two young individuals who could potentially become betrothed.

Lan Zhan, accompanied by his elder brother Lan Huan (Xichen) and their parents, entered the grand halls of the Jiang residence.
