Mafuyu x Akito

Chapter 1

After the events of "Come here Mafuyu-chan".....

"You're in love with Akito?!" Ena stares at me in disbelief.

My mouth goes dry and I can't respond. Should I have told her sooner? What does she think of me now? After a moment of silence, I manage to nod my head. "Should I have told you sooner?" I ask.

"Yes you should have told me sooner!! Are you crazy?? You really want to be with someone like him?!"

I feel annoyance bubbling up inside me. "He's very nice and caring!.." I pause for a moment then meekly continue "..He's also very.. hot!!"

Ena shakes her head. "Akito is anything BUT nice and hot! I would know, afterall, since I have to put up with him everyday! Since I am his sister and all that..."

"That's not true!" I retort, getting defensive. "Akito is amazing and super nice and handsome and-"

My voice falters and I feel my face turn red in embarrassment as Akito opens the door with a surprised look on his face. "Ena?? My sister?? What... I didn't know you were coming to Mafuyu's house today too.." He says.

"I wasn't planning to.. not until I found this love letter thing you wrote!" Ena holds up a sheet of paper.

"H-hey!!" Akito shouts, snatching the paper out of her hand. "H-ho did you get this?? Were you snooping around my room!!"

"I just found it on the floor outside your room.. you must have just dropped it so don't get mad at me because I did nothing!" Ena crosses her arms. "I just came here because I don't get how Mafuyu can love someone like.. you."

For a second, Akito looks like he will angrily respond. But no words came out of his mouth.

He almost looked.. sad.

I feel angry at Ena, she has no right to make Akito feel this way. Without much thinking, I knew exactly what to do.

"Ena," I start to speak without hesitation, "I'm leaving N25."

"WHAT" Ena is shocked at my declaration. "But..why?"

"You won't accept that I love Akito." I respond.

"No it's not that!! I really was just wondering why you like him in the first place!!...Seriously!!" She adds after I glance at her dubiously.

"Well.. it doesn't matter." I say, getting up from my chair and walk towards the door. "From now on, I will be making music with Akito-kun." I look at him affectionately and he returns my loving gaze.

"What!?" Ena is left speechless. "But..but what about saving you?? With Kanade's music??"

"I dont need to be saved. Not anymore." I look once more at Akito and his beautifully brave green eyes.

"Come here Akito-kun."

He takes my outstretched hand and we walk out the door together, leaving Ena dumbfounded. We put on our rocket shoes left by the front door, a gift from Kamishiro.

"Let's go Mafuyu-chan."

I nod. With a kiss, we lift off the ground and fly into the sunset. Our past is left behind and a new future awaits us.
