When 4 become 5 [ON HOLD]

{Amy's POV}

I ran on the long track passing the other kids in my track team. The faster I ran, the more confident I was, but...I was teleported to another world, leaving the race. The next thing I knew, I was in a fire world, the underworld, and was weirdly able to move around without burning. My first thought was 'Who sent me here?' Then, I saw a girl that was flowing water. I figured I needed her help, if I was going to get out of here. I called for help and the girl made her way over. However, two other kids clutching each other also called for help. I wanted the girl to help both me and the two kids, but she had other thoughts.

The girl with the water power shouted to me, "You started this fire! Stop it!"

"Me?" I shouted.

That girl was not very happy when she said it, but she also seemed like she was not playing with a full deck of cards. Me. Start this mess of a fire?! I could barely light a match. Suddenly, the water girl and the two kids vanished.

'Now how do I do this?' I asked myself.

I was about to give up when I saw a crystal, a glowing, red one that was in the shape of a fire in a pit, the tips curving at the top, on the floor about an arm's length away. Maybe that could help me out. However, a fiery wall flew up and a mythical creature of some sort, a guardian maybe, appeared.

"State your business" it replied with a booming voice.

It caught me off guard a bit, but I wasn't going to show it.

"I need to get that crystal!" I yelled.

The creature then seemed to recognized me and spoke, "You are one of the five elements."

Then, it changed into a fiery phoenix and disappeared with the fire wall. I gasped, what? But...... whatever, I thought. I'll deal with it later. I picked up the crystal.

'Now what?' I thought.

I turned around and saw a palace made of fire. Soon enough, I heard a voice in my head.

'Amy. I am the phoenix you saw. My name is Sakaru. I am your sprit animal and will give you the power of fire and with this ability you will be able to learn and fight faster.'

I felt like I understood this whole thing. I felt like I knew what I had to do. So, I climbed the palace and, not hurting myself in the process, finally reached the top. At the top, there was a pedestal that had five slots of different shapes and sizes. Next to each one, there were weird markings. Somehow, I recognized 'fire' next to a slot that looked like my crystal could fit in it. Then, Sakaru appeared, out of no where, in front of me. Sakaru's wings were large and were spread out in front of my face. Her whole body was like a fire, shaped as a phoenix. Then Sakaru spoke.

"There are three other kids still needed to put in their crystals. That will give us a stronger power force."

With that, I was transported back to the race. Everyone was paused. All of a sudden, everyone was unfrozen and cheering loudly... for me. I was at the finish line! I won against the best track team from the statewide schools division! My best friends, Marcus and Mia, both came rushing to me, cheering. However, Marcus stared at me like something was wrong. On my arm was a glove with an object shaped like fire on it. A glowing red crystal was in the middle. It was never there before. I then looked at Mia. But... I could've sworn that I saw a teardrop on Mia's chest and water surrounding her. I blinked in disbelief. It was suddenly gone. Maybe I'm going crazy like the girl in the fire world. Then I realized, Mia was the next element. More importantly, Mia is the girl flowing water, I hope.

"Hey, Amy where did you get that glove?" Mia asked.

"The red crystal in the middle looks cool!" she continued.

I suddenly realized that Sakaru gave me the crystal in the form of a glove, that I was to keep the crystal and protect it. I slipped out a small sigh; there are way more important things to do than to tell my best friends that I'm part of five elements. This will probably come back to haunt me that I kept this big of a secret from my friends. No, wait. It already is! Then, out of nowhere, Marcus collapsed on the ground.
