{Tyler's POV}

There I sat, by the rocks. I gave it one, hard kick. The animals taught me how to do lots of things without getting hurt. Luckily, they're the only creatures that actually understand me. And, they don't even fully understand me about 90% of the time. I kicked the rocks, yet again.

"Ty," a bird cried, it sorrowfully continued, "Ty, h-h-help. P-p-pwease?"

I traced the sound to a bird's nest. A baby bird sat in there, alone.

"Mommy! Mommy!" it cried.

I picked it up and cradled it. Oh, how cute. I kissed it gently as I searched for its mother. Turns out, she was in a nearby nest. I laid the baby gently on its mother's wing.

"Oh, Ty. What would we do without you?"

Saying this, the mother bird rested her baby down and flew up to Tyler. She pecked him on the cheek.

"I love you Ty," she followed sweetly.

"I love you too, Janie"

With that, I walked away. I walked and walked and walked some more. An to my luck, I fell. Where did I fall? On an ant hill. I figured that there were better things to do than to brush them off. I killed them and brought them home. To be fair, ants on a stick are really good. Peanut butter, celery, and ants. Gosh, why am I so weird? That's probably why nobody likes me.

"TYLER!!!" My mother yelled, once again.

"TYLER! GET YOUR FRIENDS OR WHATEVER OUT OF HERE!"

I casually stalked to the bathroom. What I saw, was mother taking a bubble bath. However, she was covered in chipmunks and squirrels. I whistled and they looked to me. When they saw that it was me, they cheered.

"Come on," I whispered.

They were able to hear the softest of sounds when I spoke to them. So, they followed me outside. They tackled me. All I could hear were "Ty"s and "T"s and the rare "Tyler!"s.

"Off guys!" I said sternly.

"But we love ya!" Chip exclaimed.

"Yeah, and you saved us from a mean witch lady." Chocolate followed-up.

"B-" I started a sentence and got cut off by them. Like always.

"See ya in a few," they chuckle as they run off.

I lay on the ground thinking of nothing. Soon enough, I fall asleep and I dream.

I'm walking to school with a girl. Soon enough, she transforms into a bird. Amy the bird. She picks me up and we fly. We fly past the school. We fly past civilization. We fly past everything.

"I trust you Amy." I call to her.

I finally have found someone that I can trust, someone that will love me no matter what.

"Are you sure?" she replies. Her voice so soft and silky.

"Yes," I say as I close my eyes.

I let Amy take me. I don't know where, but she's taking me somewhere spectacular.

"We're here" Amy chirped. The tone of her voice never changed.

I still kept my eyes closed. My words repeated themselves in my head. 'I trust you.'

I felt like I was falling. I probably am. Anyways, it'll probably be into a field of cotton candy trees. I land on something hot. My eyes are still closed. Then, it starts to burn. I open my eyes and I'm in a pit of lava. I scream at the sky to see Amy fly away like nothing ever happened. I accepted my death knowing that no one will love me and no one has ever loved me. No one cares.

After that dream, I decided that I liked Janie better than her best friend Amy. Amy gives me the creeps. I can't believe that I actually just caught myself shuddering at an animal. What have I become?

I realized that I was still laying down in front of my house. I got up and dusted myself off. I went inside and little did I know, I had a surprise, or not, waiting for me.

"Tyler! Get your butt over here!" My dad spoke, harsher than ever. I didn't really care.

"Yes father?" I asked a question AND made eye contact. I'm going to be in serious trouble for sure.

My dad growled but somehow replied. "We're moving.... to North Carolina." His anger was evident in his voice.

I turned around and walked to my room. I knew that I was going to be stuck in here because I obviously had more than twenty belongings. That's why I was going to go outside in five minutes.

I made the emergency meeting call. Everyone came quickly. All the animals of my forest were there. I quickly regretted this. But, they needed a good explanation.

I sighed. Here goes nothing.

I started off, "I called this meeting to tell you all that-"

"You're moving" Amy concluded. Again, they cut me off.

"But-" I started off.

"I overheard your parents" she tweeted.

"Goodbye everyone!" I said sadly.

The animals all gave me a hug. Jamie's baby was there. I kissed it and left.

"Bye!" they all called after me.

I turned around and waved. Good bye home, I'll miss you.
