Peter Quill was piloting his baby called the Milano. Natalie was co piloting as he saw that she had a sad look in her eyes while looking out the window. Peter sighed before putting it on Autopilot and turning to face her.

"Hey," he said as she looked over at him.

"Hey yourself,"

"What's wrong? Is it the whole Yondu situation?"

She sighed.

"My dad..... He was really upset this time, he's never upset with me and you know that,"

"Hey listen to me," Peter said gently grabbing her face within his hands. "Your dad is a douche bag, he doesn't ever let you out and thinks you don't know how to protect yourself, Your Natalie Udonta and from what I seen your the most badass person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing," he said his eyes softening as a blush formed on her blue face.

She looked down.

"Peter..... Thank you that makes me feel better," she smiles causing him to do the same.

"Wanna hear something?" He asked causing Natalie to giggle.

"Don't tell me one of your fancy tunes?"

"You know it lady," he said grinning. "But not just any tune though I call it our special tune," he said just when Hooked on a feeling came on causing Natalie to smile.

"You remembered,"

"How can I forget? I introduced you to this some when we first met," he said reaching a hand for Natalie to take.

"Oh Peter I don't think- Ah!" She yelped as Peter grabbed onto her hand and started spinning her around.

Natalie was happy, happier than she ever been as her and Peter danced and sing along to the music. Peter had his hands on her hips that were swaying back and forth together.

"Girl, you just don't realize What you do to me," Peter sang to the lyrics looking Natalie straight in the eyes. "When you hold me
In your arms so tight You let me know Everything's alright," He dipped her down before pulling her upright again as noses touched each other's.

"I'm hooked on a feeling," she lightly sang staring into Peter's eyes. "I'm high on believing," she continued a little louder. "That you're in love with me," they both sang together this time, unaware how much closer they've become together.

"Peter," Natalie whispered against his lips forgetting about the music blasting out in the speakers.

"Hmmm?" He asked eyes half closed.

"Kiss me," she lightly demands putting her arms around his neck.

However before lips could collide a voice was heard.

"GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF MY DAUGHTER BOY!" The voice of Yondu yelled his face popping up on the screens causing the two to jump back in fright.

"DAD! YONDU!" They both yelled at the same time.

"This was exactly the reason why I keep you two separate! I will-"

Peter hung up before he could finish his threat as Natalie looked at him in shock.

"You just hung up on my dad,"

"Yeah well he was being an A-hole you know,"

"Peter about what happened..... It.... It can't happen again," Natalie said turning away from him causing Peter to take a step forward to her.

"Don't say that, look we both been around each other for as long as we can remember, I know you feel something for me and right now just proved it, Natalie now is better time than ever to tell you.... I love you Natalie, I have been since we were 15,"

"Peter," Natalie said turning around to face him tears in her eyes. "Peter it's not that I don't want to be with you, trust me I feel the same way but.... My dad,"

"Your 18 free to do what you want not what Yondu wants, free to make your own decisions not Yondu's decisions, you have to step up for yourself and not let him control you, Natalie I want us to be together, I love you Natalie Udonta, the real reason why I asked you to come with me was so I can tell you this,"

Natalie took a deep breath before looking into his eyes.

"Okay Peter..... Promise me something," she said wrapping her arms around his neck as noses touched.

"Anything,"

"That you won't let me go, because I've loved you since I first met you, I only acted like I didn't care because of my dad,"

Peter cupped her cheeks in his hands searching for her eyes.

"Well I guess only one question to ask,"

"Anything," she responds causing him to smile this time.

"Natalie Udonta, would you do the honors of becoming my girlfriend?" He asked lips inches apart.

"As long as you kiss me, the answer is yes,"

Peter grinned as he brought his lips down upon hers in a blistful kiss.
