"Jimin!" Brooklyn laughed as she gripped the hold on her door.
Jimin was driving crazily, turning corners like a drunk teen that definitely wasn't supposed to have a license.
To any other person, it would be a scary close to death experience, but to Jimin and Brooklyn, it was a fun thing that they giggled and laughed about while blasting music.
"You're at home now, Lyn Lyn." Jimin pulled up in front of the house, turning the music down to the point where it was softly playing in the back.
Brooklyn reached to open the door but before she even could, Jimin locked it, unlocking his door only before rushing to her side to open her door, but he couldn't do that because he locked the door.
Brooklyn shook her head in disappointment before simply unlocking the door from the inside.
"You're going inside with me?" Brooklyn asked as she noticed Jimin not getting back inside the car.
"Yes, I wanna say hi to your mom again. You think she cooked?" Jimin asked, Brooklyn chuckled cause she knew her mother probably did cook.
"Mom...?" Brooklyn gently knocked on the door, but it ended up getting en. She looked at Jimin who looked back,
"She doesn't want to get married to anyone else, can't you see that?!" She heard her mother yell from inside.
Jimin saw her visibly frown causing grabbing her hand. It was something he remembered used to calm down Brooklyn during thunderstorms, when their parents used to get drunk together and yell, or anything event that made her scared or nervous.
"Mom?" Brooklyn called out as she pushed the door open, only to hear her mother still yelling from the kitchen.
"Your daughter just recovered from a 16 day depression and you're talking about her getting married at such a young age?! You broke her and Yoongi up for that!?" Her mother yelled.
Brooklyn's face fell emotionalless after what she heard. How and when?
When did her father have the time to even talk to Yoongi besides on her birthday when they first met?
How did her convince Yoongi to leave her? Yoongi loved her, he said it himself, then why would he just immediately leave her?
"If you would fucking listen to me then you would understand! This is only for the company-"
"Your company matters more than the happiness of your daughter," she heard her mother chuckle, "and what happens after she gets wedded off to some random mother fucker?" Her mom asked.
"It's not some random mother fucker, it's Jimin, and she's not getting married now, it's set somewhere in the future." Her father tried to reason with her mother.
"Mom!" Brooklyn called out loudly, getting the attention of both her father and mother, tears were in her eyes as she looked at her mother, begging her to do something with her eyes.
"I know, sweetie, your father is being an asshole." Her mother held her close. Jimin stood to the side as he watched, not knowing what to do.
"Brooklyn, stop crying, you're old enough to sacrifice things for this family, you're 18-"
"She's 17!" Her mother scuffed.
"I don't care if she was 43, she's getting married!" Her father yelled.
"No, I hate you!" Brooklyn yelled, breaking out of her mom's grip before running outside the house.
"Brooklyn!" Jimin ran after her while her parents continued arguing out of anger.
