She grabbed her phone before going downstairs. She saw her mom cooking something and her dad was leaned against the counter, she didn't bother to listen to what they were talking about as her eyes landed on all the gifts that pretty much covered the floor space in the living room. They were all name brand products.
"So I heard your mom put you in public school," Her dad glared at her mom, Brooklyn frowned at that, "How is it going so far?" Her dad finished.
"It's better than I expected. I already have.. 3 friends?" Did Jin, RM and Jhope count as her friends? She didn't know.
"Great. You're mom also told me you met a boy?" Her dad asked. Brooklyn mentally pouted before glaring at her mom.
"Y-yes. He's one of my friends." Brooklyn said as she fiddle with string of her hoodie.
"If that's what you want. Isn't prom coming up?" Brooklyn shrugged. Not like she wanted to go anyways.
"What do you mean you don't know? Are you going?" Her mom tuned in. Brooklyn once again shrugged.
"I don't want to go in a room full of people and dance to songs I probably don't know" Brooklyn protested as her mom put a plate in front of her.
"What do you want to do today?" Her dad asked.
"Don't you have to go back to work?" Brooklyn asked. Truth was she didn't want to do anything today.
"I can spare a few hours for my Princess." Brooklyn smiled. She wondered what they were going to do since she knew there was going to be a party.
"Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose are going to take you to get your nails done and take you to the mall, okay?" Her mom smiled at her. Brooklyn smiled back and nodded her head. Just as Brooklyn was done eating there was a beep outside. Her dad stopped her and gave her some money.
"Hurry up, it's Jisoo." Her mom rushed her. Brooklyn got up and and run outside to see Jisoo in her car.
"Jiji!" She smiled once she got into the car.
"Hello, Panda. So Lisa and Rose said they will meet us at the mall." Brooklyn nodded and Jisoo pulled off. She then got a text from Yoongi.
