Cloves POV
I stand outside of the doors for individual evaluation. My turn is next and I do pretty good it was short but sweet I feel..hopefully the game makers thought the same...
The next day
We're watching the evaluation results. Glimmer and marvel both got 9's and they get to ours "Cato with a score of..10!" Ceaser says and we all applaud Cato and I kiss his cheek. "Clove with a score of...10!" "Yes!" We both got a ten that should make us look pretty dangerous
We watch more all of the younger kids get a 7 or lower and that big guy from district 11 got a 10 as well..that should put him high on the careers kill list. And we stay for district 12's scores not expecting anything great but surprisingly the boy also got a 10 and we stop to see what fire girl got.
I'm still pretty pissed off from when she upstaged us at the parade... "katniss Everdeen with a score of...11" ceaser says kind of surprised and Cato is furious "an 11! How could she get a higher score!!" He says while getting up and looked like he was gonna flip the table over "Cato. Cato! Calm down...okay we'll just kill her in the arena trust me...I don't think she's much of a threat. Plus she's out numbered" I say with a slight smile
I'm really mad but I can't add to the stress everyone else has right now...
He calmed down and went into his room and I went to check on him "hey...you okay?" "No. Someone from an outlying district upstaged us..again!" "I know! I just wanna drive my knife through her!" Cato looks at me as if he fell in love again
"Tell you what. We'll save her until we're down to the last 4 maybe and we'll share the kill" I nod excitedly "yes...we will kill her together! I cannot wait to kill fire girl" I say happily and he pulls me close to him and we sleep...tomorrow is the interview..
