True to his words, the new tent that Tarsem prepared for them was huge. It had its own area with three separate tents connected to the large one in the middle that was supposed to be Tawn's and Jake.

Lo'ak and Neteyam both got their own tent while Kiri and Tuk needed to bunk up together but Kiri wasn't mad about it since she loved sharing things with her little sister.

There was also a wooden divider between Tawn and Jake's bedroom and the common area for privacy. Rami got his own cot in their bedroom so they could easily get to him in case he cried in the middle of the night.

All in all, it was a nice upgrade from the last place they resided.

It took her weeks until she finally adjusted to this place. Before she knew it, she had formed a routine. It consisted of waking up, tending to Rami and then feeding him. If Jake was around, he would take her to the lab where all the humans resided and worked. If not, she'll be inside, waiting for the kids to come home and then cook them dinner before calling it a day.

It might look so passive and depressing to some, but Tawn was happy being cooped up inside the tent. It was better than receiving glares or whispers from the clan. This was safe.

On the other hand, Jake noticed how unhealthy her habits were, and so that day, he decided to change that. He didn't want Tawn to wither away, waiting for him and the kids to return. He wanted to see her in her element, enjoying this sanctuary and exploring the area. He wanted her to socialise and have friends so she wasn't lonely on days like this.

"Jake? Where are you taking me?" Tawn asked, clutching on Jake's arm tightly as they walked pass a group of Na'vi women whispering and glancing at the couple. Tawn couldn't help but squeeze extra tightly when one of them hissed at her when they made eye contact.

Jake turned towards the woman and glared her down, ordering her to stand down and not mess with his mate. Jake snaked his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him, claiming his stake to the clan, "I have someone I want to introduce you too. She's supposed to be in link with her Na'vi."

Tawn sighed, looking down at their matching steps, "is she going to like me? What if I look hideous to her? Should I change to something more Omatikayan? I don't want her to see me like an out...."

It wasn't until Jake kissed her passionately that Tawn stopped her ramblings. When Tawn relaxed in Jake's arms, he pulled away slowly, "Tawn, it's okay. I think this is better for you too. I don't want you cooped up in our tent every day," he frowned, stroking her cheek softly.

"But I like being cooped up in our tent every day," she retaliated stubbornly, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

Jake shook his head, "Well it's not healthy, I want you to find your spark back, Tawn," Tawn glared deepen, huffing and puffing in defiance, "If you're being a brat, I'll treat you like one tonight," Jake growled threateningly.

Tawn's face flushed at his promise, her eyes looked around the room to check if no one was listening in on their conversation because if someone did, she would die of embarrassment. Literally.

"Fine," she conceded, "but I get a reward tonight."

Jake smirked, "of course you do. What do you take me for?"

Tawn smiled teasingly before going on her tip toes to reach his ear, "an old man," she whispered.

Jake gripped her wrist that was placed on his chest, "by the end of our session, you're going to pass out from how much stamina I take out of you," he threatened menacingly, his tail swaying from side to side in excitement. He smirked when he noticed Tawn's also mirrored his tail, he got her railed up.
