It's been hell of a week with Camila and her parents. There was yelling, screaming, and talking, a lot of talking. I didn't listen to it much because I was in no position and I had my own problems going on myself, like how Emily had a fucking child and claimed that the child was mine. It didn't make sense, it didn't add up, and it obviously didn't make anything easier to avoid the woman. I needed to talk to her, clear this up, and get her out of my life because Emily plus Lauren was not a good mix.

I sighed heavily as I sat down next to the packed bags that belonged to both Camila and I. We were about to leave and go back to the mansion, which also meant seeing more Camila with Shawn and also me planning a meeting with Emily. I needed to get Emily away before she ruins what I have with Camila. "Ready to go, babe?" Camila walked into the room and her worker grabbed our bags and left to go put them in the car.

"I'm gonna meet up with my ex-girlfriend." I admitted out of the blue.

"What?" The brunette in front of me furrowed her eyebrows and gave me an unamused look.

I shook my head. "It's not like that- It's just- I need to talk to her about something important."

"Then I'm coming along." Camila stood her ground. "You're mine and mine only. I don't want other woman around you, especially your exes."

I sighed and regret that I even told her in the first place. "You can't come. It's something I need to deal with alone, please understand that." I said as I got up and approached her. "Do you trust me?" I tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"You're gorgeous and I don't trust anyone around you." She took my hands into hers. "But- But I'll let you do this only once because you asked nicely." She pecked my lips. "Okay?"

"Okay." I smiled. "Are you okay with your parents now?"

"No." She forced a smile. "They ruined my life and it'll take more than a week for me to forgive them."

I nodded, although I wish I knew what they did to hurt her in the first place and caused a mess with their relationship. Time will tell, I guess? She intertwined our fingers and led us out the house where her parents were waiting. "It was good to have you stay with us, Mija." Sinu smiled at her daughter. "We'll tell Sofi you said hi when she gets back from her abuela."

Camila only nodded. "Glad you didn't have her stay here to witness all of this."

We walked to the car and I opened the door for Camila. Before I could get in myself, Sinu stops me by speaking, "Lauren, you're good for her and I see she's good for you too, so never let her go." She smiled and Alejandro nodded along.

"Thank you." I smiled before getting in and closing the car door.

The driver drives us out of the place and onto the main road, leaving Camila cuddling next to as the vehicle moved. "Thank you for coming with me even after everything that happened before we left." She mumbled against my chest and held onto me tighter. "I'm sorry again for walking out on you when you confessed."

I kissed the top of her head. "It's all fine, babe."

I fell asleep on the ride back and woke up with the car already parked with the front door of the mansion. "We're here." The driver announced. I looked out the window to find Shawn standing there with roses. I rolled my eyes and sighed causing the woman next to me to hold my hand. "From now on it's just pretend with him, okay?" She squeezed my hand lightly. "I now see my future with you, Lauren." She smiled.

"Only me?" I smiled.

She nodded. "You and you only."

We got out of the car and as I handled the bags, Camila played pretend girlfriend by acting surprised by the roses and pecked Shawn's lips. I knew she said it was pretend by seeing it happen still stinged my heart, how could it not? I carried the bag inside and was greeted by Dinah, she quickly helped me with the bags and we brought it up stairs to the room.
