Jere's pov (day before)

Oh my god, last night was so much fun!

The afternoon started with probably the best party I've ever been on. A hotel was booked and the whole Eurovision crew gathered together. An hour before the beginning we were given a list to put songs that we would like to be played on. Everyone had already put their but I was trying to choose one. In the end, I went for Hold me closer by Cornelia Jacobs although I knew it's Sweden's song from last year's contest.

"Jere?" Matti asked me.
"Yeah?" I turned to him.
"Have you decided what you're gonna wear tonight?" he said while folding some clothes in his arms.
"The bolero isn't any good tonight, right?"
"No, and even if it was, that's not the only thing you have with you, sometimes it's good to change clothes in a few days."
I chuckled after he said that.

"That's fair." I got up, opening my suitcase. It's really messy so it's not weird I'm sticking to wearing the same thing over and over.

I digged around for a bit at first but then I found what I was looking for. It was a shirt with lots of European flags printed over it.

"Matti, do you think this will be alright?"
He turned around and gave me a thumbs up. I found some black pants to wear underneath and I put both of these on.

When we were both ready we walked out of our room. Me and Matti were sharing one and the other dancers shared the other one, while the team got their own rooms. We met Etel and Katri in the hall way.

"Where's Jesse?" Matti asked.
"He left earlier, he said he's probably not gonna go on the party, he'd rather explore the city." Etel answered smiling.
"That sure does sound like him, yeah." I laughed.

The whole group walked out and we were met with nice colder air outside. I was honestly expecting it to be a bit warmer so I didn't bring a jacket with me but I think I'll be fine.

We met some fans on the way, taking pictures and hugging all of them. They are probably the nicest people in the whole world.

As we got closer to the place, we met some other people we knew.

"Hi Jere!"
"Hello Alessandra, how are you?"

She walked closer to us, seperating from her team.

"I'm good, I'm good, you?"
"I have a great time. Let's go inside?"
"Sure!"

We both walked into the hotel, both teams following behind. The entry was well litten up, but the further we walked inside, the less light there was. Slowly the warm yellowish light was replaced with neon blue, purple and green disco lights.

This party was just for the contestants and their team.

Immediately after walking into the main room of the party, I locked eyes with someone.

He was standing in the middle with other boys, probably members of his band. He was talking to one of them, but he kept looking back at me. Unfortunately my awkwardness didn't make it any better. Instead I just kept staring at him like a maniac.
