I was chosen for the quarter quell. I wasnt one of the two though. The two were older than me. Around their forties or fifties. Beetee and Wiress. They wanted someone younger so added a younger past contestant. Only me. This meant we were by ourselves and didn't have a trainer. When we got to the capitol I was given a letter. A record of all the contestants this year. I read through and my eyes landed on Finnick Odair.
I left our hotel room and headed to room 4. I was district 3 and our contestants had room three so Finnick must be 4.
The door swung open and there stood Finnick.
"Finnick," I frowned.
"No," He shook his head.
He obviously hadn't read the letter.
"Theres three of us. Me Wiress and Beetee. They wanted me because I'm younger," I explained while starting to tear up.
Finnick pulled me towards him and hugged me.
