Eun-Ji eyes gently flickered open, and she let out a little moan as she stretched her arm that had been above her head. Her eyes slowly adjusted to the bright light that had been beaming in through a large window. The smell of paint filled her nostrils, and she remembered where she was. Looking around the room as she lay on the bed, she could see the small sketches and paintings lining the wall above the workspace that was covered in painting supplies. As her eyes moved around the room an easel with a large canvas on it came into view, and the smiley face of one of her closest friends appeared round the side.

"Hey sleepyhead," Yoongi says as Eun-Ji gets back into the position she was posing in. "It's okay, I'm done. You can move now," he adds.

"Really?" she asks, surprised. "You didn't start that long ago," Yoongi laughs.

"Well, you've been asleep for a few hours, so it's going to seem like time has flown," he grins, putting his paintbrush into a glass filled with water.

"What?" Eun-Ji exclaims, sitting up quickly and pulling the sheet to cover her chest. "Why did you let me sleep so long?"

"You must have needed it and it gave me a chance to zone out and concentrate on the painting," he replies, getting up and taking a robe from the back of the door. He moved closer to Eun-Ji and passed it to her so she could cover up properly as she was only wearing underwear. Eun-Ji slips her arms into the robe and does it up as Yoongi sits at the edge of the bed.

"So can I see it?" Eun-Ji asks.

"Not yet. I've still got a few bits I need to add detail to, but that's all room based, so I can add those later," he says. "Bonus of having your art studio in your bedroom," he smiles warmly as Eun-Ji looks at him with admiration. "Just know it came out really well, in fact, it came out so well I want to create a series."

"Really. What sort of series?" Eun-Ji asks.

"I was thinking about it as I painted and want them to be like a girlfriend series. It would be different poses in each painting from sitting and writing to laying on the bed and reading that sort of thing with about five in total," Yoongi replies.

"So, you'll have a different model for each?" she asks, causing Yoongi to look at her, surprised.

"What? no," he replies. "I hoped you would agree to sit for the whole series, unless you don't want to. I know you only agreed to sit for this one because your face couldn't be seen," he adds quickly. "I promise, if you agree, we can find poses for you that won't show your face except for the final sixth piece where I want to see your face and look into those eyes of yours. But know that it will be for my eyes only and hopefully the best of the girlfriend series as the art won't be on canvas, but in my bed," he says with hope in his eyes. Eun-Ji looks down and Yoongi realises he's overstepped and made her uncomfortable. "I'm sorry, I'll leave you so you can get dressed," he said softly as he gets up and leaves the room.

Yoongi walks out of the room looking deflated, which doesn't go unnoticed by Hye-Won.

"Did the painting come out that bad?" she asks, patting her brother-in-law's shoulder.

"No, just me being an idiot. Why can't I ever say the right thing around her?" He replies, looking at Hye-Won with sorrow in his eyes. "Can you check on her? I don't think she's going to want to talk to me for a bit," he adds with a deep sigh.

"Of course I will. And don't stress too much, she still needs time" Hye-Won says reassuringly, before walking into Yoongi's room after knocking.

In Yoongi's room, Eun-Ji pulled her knees up and wrapped her arms around her legs before resting her head on her knees and fighting the tears that threatened to fall.
