D E ' A N D R E ' S P O V
I sat the bar patiently sipping my old fashioned while I waited for one of my mates. I didn't have many friends these days, everyone either became annoying, lazy, leeches or became extremely envious, but I had just enough left. Ethan was my best, he actually made something of himself and stuck by me through everything. I suddenly felt a slap on the back of my neck as I swiftly turned watching him laugh in my face.
"I never get tired of that face." He exclaimed as he bent over clutching his stomach, pointing in my face mockingly. It had been a while since I had seen him as he was on a business in Italy with his boyfriend Oliver.
"Fuck off." I said standing up and embracing him. He sat down and called the bar maid over, ordering a whiskey sour.
"How you been man? Ain't seen you in a bit, you look different." He asked in his western accent as I shrugged. "Wait- wait wait wait-" He said raising his hands in the air and leaning back a bit.
"What? What what what-"
"No man you got that glow- yeah, you've got that new girlfriend glow!" He exclaimed pointing at me as I just laughed and sipped my drink.
"I plead the eight." I said "zipping" my mouth closed.
"Um, it's the fifth and I don't care what you plead." Ethan was a lawyer and he new all the legal and smart stuff if you will. "Give me the details man! I mean is it serious?"
I explained everything that's happened over the span of the last month to him trying my best to leave out the more raunchy parts.
"Let me see this girl man! She sounds amazing man, I'm happy for you." I pulled out my phone going to her instagram which was mostly full of scenery photos and pictures of her cat until I scrolled over a photo of her in a cafe. I showed Ethan and his eyes widened. "Dude she's gorgeous, if I was straight.." he said trailing off as I gave him a straight face.
"Don't play like that man." He took the phone scrolling through as I looked around the bar. It wasn't too far from my work building so there were plenty of business men here, my employees.
"Hey, uh I think you're getting a call." Ethan said apparently cracking up as I was confused what was so funny. I snatched the phone reading the notification.

I looked back up at him slightly embarrassed as he laughed and signaled for me to answer. Rolling my eyes, I clicked the green button and held the phone up to my ear.
"Hello?" She spoke, her sweet voice filling my ears like honey.
"Yea hey Zo."
"Hey, what are you doing tonight?" She asked sounding out of breath.
"Nothing really just planning to go to the office and get some work in. What are you doing you sound so out of breath?"
"Oh I'm just on a run, but why are you doing work on a Friday? Can't you just hire people to do that for you?" She exclaimed sounding offended as I just shook my head. "Look I just ran past this really cool carnival thing that just opened and I was wondering if you wanted to go tonight around 7."
"Absolutely, I'll pick you?"
"Yea cool, I gotta get back to running though I'll call u later." She said as we said our good byes and I looked at my phone excitedly. I looked at my watch, it was around 4:30 now and I still had to go home and clean before our date.
"Everything alright?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah its cool we're just gonna have to cut this short, Im being summoned."
"Oh wow man.. got a new chick and you're already ditching your day one." He said obviously joking as we paid out bills and laughed. "You may be joking but don't be surprised when you make it outside and your car is keyed and the tires are slashed." He said hitting my back as he walked out the door.

I sat in my car outside her apartment scrolling on my feed. I looked up and saw her walking out of the building door looking amazing in a simple outfit. Blue washed ripped jeans, a white tank top, black bomber jacket, and a pair of panda dunks. I quickly jumped out of the car running to her as she looked up at me.
"Hey! You ready? We're gonna get on the drop tower and the ferris wheel, and maybe the zipper!" Zora asked nudging my arm.
"Definitely, never been more ready." I mumbled trying to avoid the conversation.
"What's wrong?" She asked me grabbing my hands as I looked away nodding my head. "Did I do something?"
"No, no your perfect its just I- uh I kinda can't." I spat out as her face dropped.
"What? I got all ready and excited see?" She said showing off her sundress with a smile, and god she looked good. "Tell me what's wrong?" I stared into her eyes embarrassed at what I was about to say.
"Well, when I was young, my father always had business trips and I would usually stay with my mum but after she passed I started having to go with my dad on them and one time we were on the plane to Italy and there was a lot of turbulence. We ended up having to emergency land and ever since then heights haven't really been my thing, or planes."
"Wait this is because you're afraid of heights? But you take planes all the time." She said as we both chuckled. "Im sorry that happened to you by the way." She said caressing my face.
"Yeah its fine and I have my own plane where I make my crew take very specific precautions to avoid anything like that happening." I said making it very clear that I don't take the safety of me or anyone who boards my plane lightly.
"You know what, tonight we are going conquer your fears." Zora exclaimed as I kissed my teeth. "Nah uh, don't give me that attitude cause I'll be right there with you to comfort you. And I solemnly swear I won't let go of your hand on the drop tower." As I looked into her eyes I felt comfortable, more comfortable then id ever felt with anyone. I felt as if I could do anything.
I felt myself lowering my head to her level and kissing her plump lips.
"Maybe we could skip the rides and go back inside." I whimpered desperately wanting to get out of this.
"No nooo tough guy, no escaping now." She laughed grabbing my hand and pulling me to the car.

Im gonna be honest I lost total motivation for this story but then I saw all the support and love that I was getting and it made me think bout this story and how much I loved it
so I'm back and now that its summer and I don't have shit to do ill try my hardest to be consistent !
