When Zo told me to brace myself I should've listened. Her and Indiya were now on top of the open bar dancing as Indiya was dancing provocatively while Zora stood behind her, holding a bottle of Tequila on her head.
They danced together to Megan Thee Stallion as I patrolled them whereas Indiya's Girlfriend was no where to be found. I drank my water and remained observant most of the night, about 20 minutes into us being here I took the initiative to not drink because I realized I was going to have to take care of Zora and Indiya as her dumbass partner couldn't give a rats ass about her well being.
Zora was giving me the look all night as I watched from afar, I wanted to let her have her fun but I wasn't leaving her unattended.
She almost stumbled off bar as I quickly ran over to stabilize her.
"Come on baby get down. If you're going to dance please do it on stable ground." She rolled her eyes and bent down continuing dancing, now in a squatting position on the bar which brung our faces only inches away from each others. The song playing had now switched to All I Need by Lloyd which was much slower and now people started to dance with their partners, completely changing the vibe of the event.
"Get down now, before you hurt yourself." I looked her in her eyes as she stopped dancing to return my stare. Even in the poorly lit room, I could still see every detail in her dark chocolate eyes.
"Make me." Zora quickly threw out her response obviously not second guessing. I assumed she could read the damned look on my face as I couldn't believe she would try me like this. I held on to the little bit of composure I had left for dear life.
"Zo Im not gonna ask you ag-" She rolled her eyes and looked away continuing to dance in my face earning a scoff from me. I grabbed her face by the chin, forcing her to look at me.
"Make. Me." Zora reiterated what she said before, now staring me dead in my face with a smirk. With swiftness, I swooped her off of the bar she was standing on, throwing her over my shoulder. She shrieked at the quick movement. "Hey! What are you doing?" She half-ass struggled to fight me back as I moved through the crowded room towards the exit.
"This is kid-napping."
"Stranger Danger!"
"Put me down sir!"
Zora threw comment after comment which I ignored because she had gotten herself into this predicament and It is gonna take a little more than a couple slurred insults to get out. Luckily I spotted Indiya's girlfriend talking with a group of people at the exit.
"Hey, keep an eye out for Indiya. She's pretty drunk and will probably need some help getting herself together." She turned around to face me and I could immediately smell the alcohol on her breath also. She listened to me with a weirdly annoyed look on her face.
"Yeah she can take care of herself, thanks for coming though." She glared over at her clearly incoherent girlfriend with less than a sliver of a care before she turned around and continued talking to her guests. I bit my tongue and just nodded my head before walking away.
I proceeded walking down the street with Zo over my shoulder as she was oddly quiet now, my curiosity caused me to grip her butt and shake it in order to make sure she was still alive. She hummed a response and returned the favor before cackling loudly. Normally I would chase her down for doing this but I just laughed and continued walking.
"You knoow.. I am wayyyy more fucked up than you - uh- you know." Zora slurred words flooded from her mouth being interrupted by stutters and pauses, but still intrigued me to wonder more about what she meant.
