Flashback (from chapter 9)

"Gregory!!! Help!" Mindy screamed out with tears falling from her eyes. Gregory stared into Moons glowing red eyes, his wide smile across his face as he gave Gregory a wave. He felt helpless, he promised himself that he would protect Mindy from all the dangers of the Pizzaplex. He watched as the animatronic took Freddy and Mindy away, he had to save them. Don't worry guys... just hang on! I'm coming!

*End of flashback*

Mindys POV: I woke up to bright lights in my face, for some reason I knew where I was and I looked over to see the same red curtain I'd seen the first time. I heard a jingle playing on a speaker somewhere on the wall or ceiling, it sounded familiar but I couldn't figure out how I knew it.

I walked out and I was amazed at what I saw, it looked like a huge play area for the little kids to run around and play with their friends. There were a couple of play structures that looked like a jungle gym or something like that and the floor was padded with a bunch of different colors, like a rainbow. I looked down from where I was and there was a huge ball pit right below me! Wow, I think I saw this before... wait. Is this where I met Gregory?  I felt like this place looked familiar, but my memory was all a blur. "Oh good, your awake." The voice sounded familiar and it was behind me, I turn around and see the moon animatronic that had captured me. "W-Who are you? And, why am I here?" I asked him. "Sun, you know who I am. Don't act stupid." He said with slight anger in his voice. Sun? That's not my name! Why did he call me 'Sun'? I don't understand why he called me that.

"Th-that's not my name. It's Mindy." I stuttered and he looked at me as if I was an idiot. "Have you completely lost it or something? Is there something wrong with your programming?" He said as he tilted his head to the side. "What are you talking about? My programming?" I was confused by what he said, programming? What is going on? "Ugh...follow me. I'll show you what I mean." He gestured me to follow him and I followed him into a room where there was a mirror, I looked in the mirror and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

My head was a stylized sun-shaped head, white eyes, and a widely-grinning expression, with a tan-ish side of my face curving over the other color half and overlapping the nose, and the other half being amber. I had head spikes on the perimeter that resembled sun rays. My body was lanky with long limbs and large opposable five-fingered hands which was gradient from tanish to gray with gray finger tips. I wore a tan amber shirt which corresponded with my face colors, adorned with two buttons, yellow pants with maroon stripes, and a faint maroon gradient was seen on my body just above the fabric sash of the waist frills. Both my neck and waist frills were maroon with a yellow stripe. I wore elf-like shoes with a star symbol on the outer part of the shoes, and a moon symbol in the inner part. Maroon ribbons with bells were wrapped around my wrists.

"Believe me now?" Moon asked with his arms crossed. "I-I guess. But, you never answered my question from earlier." I said to him sternly, slightly stuttering. "Your in the Superstar Daycare, it's where you met that kid in the ball pit and he turned off the lights. Remember?" He explained as I listened. Superstar Daycare? The lights went out? What happened? "Uhm, if you don't mind me asking. What happened when the lights went out?" I asked curiously as he had a look of surprise. "You don't know? You were there, and so was I. You should know." Moon asked ,leaning against the wall.

"Well, I think I remember the lights going out and... I started screaming..." I said softly as I looked down at the floor. "That's all you remember? I thought you would remember more than just that." He says with a frown. "Yes. What do you remember from that?" I asked him. "Not much, but I remember chasing him through the play structures after he turned out the lights." He added with his wide grin. I kept thinking he was going to remember more than that, but I felt terrible for what happened when I first met Gregory.

Thoughts were going through my mind as Moon showed me around the Daycare. I wonder if Gregory knows I'm here, I think i remember saying that he was banned from this place. I got lost in my thoughts when Moon showed me this other area of the Daycare, "We have a quiet corner here in case the children get overwhelmed during their playtime."

He said as he showed me what it looked like. It looked like a nice little place for the kids to calm down and relax, there were pillows and toys for the kids to play while they stayed there. "Wow, that's so nice. I bet the kids love this!" I said happily as Moon had a frown on his face and looked away. "Yeah..they do.." He said with sadness in his voice, i looked at him in worry. "Is something wrong? Are you ok?" I asked him and he looked at me with his red eyes, I put my hand on his shoulder.

"No,nothing's wrong. I'm fine. Thanks." He said and gave me a reassuring smile. I took my hand off his shoulder and he continued to show me around the place while we did small talk and chatted for a bit. The Daycare is really cool! There's so much to do! I hope Gregory is ok...I didn't even know I possessed this animatronic! I wonder how he'll react to this...I'm scared. I thought to myself and I was standing on the high platform.

Moons POV: After I showed Mi—I mean..'Sun' around the place, I saw them standing on the platform that was below the ball pit. Why did he say his name was 'Mindy?' He's not that little girl I captured earlier...or...is he? No! He can't be her! She doesn't possess him does she? Ugh... I need to stop overthinking this. I need answers from him, and I want them now.

*Thud* What was that? I look over to see 'Sun' not on the platform anymore and  saw that he fell in the ball pit. "Sunny? Are you alright?" I called out. "I'm fine Moony! Don't worry, I just didn't see where I was going that's all!" He laughed and I felt relieved that he was ok. I jumped from the platform and into the ball pit where we both got out of it. "That was quite a fall! Haha, I never expected to do that!" Sun chuckled and we both heard something move in the ballpit, "Huh? Is there something in the ball pit?" He asked as I walked over to see what was in there, it was the same little girl that I saw with Gregory. She looked at me with surprise while Sun had a look of excitement but also confusion, "Moony, look! There's a child! We finally have a new friend! Hoo hoo hoo!" He said with excitement laced in his voice. Great..time to explain this...
