11. Turns of events - Saving Raya

Rosaline's POV:

Once I was better I opened the door to walk into the hall. But I heard some voices beside the door. Two women were standing not too far from that area and were discussing something. At first, I ignored them, but when I was passing them, I heard one of them saying, "We will teach her a lesson". 

There was a pillar behind them, I stood there and tried to listen to them.

"Take this, and all you have to just to do is cut her dress from the shoulder. Here is your payment, Will give you the other half payment once the job is done. Do it without anyone noticing you and one more thing, once it is done, just leave the place and remember you don't know us, OK", She asked the waiter I guess.

Once he was gone, they again started.

"We'll humiliate his wife and then our revenge will be completed, let's see the face of Mr. Sleeves", the other one said and laughed.

I was furious what kind of people are these? I was about to catch them red-handed but I thought to help Raya first as I had already seen their faces.

I ran towards Raya's direction, she was standing beside the stairs. And that waiter was coming towards her with a knife and just as he was about to cut her dress, I pushed him aside but in between the knife touched my dress from my stomach and I let out a scream.

Aaron's POV:

While I was drinking, Garry went to communicate with our partners as I was in no mood to do so. That woman has ruined my mood completely. Sure, she is beautiful but she is full of herself. 

She has that killer attitude and ego in her but still, I was thinking about how sexy she was looking with that angry look. It somehow hardened me and I wanted to taste those Rosy lips so much. Her name suits her look, Rose but her attitude is like the leaves of Rose which would only hurt another person.

And it made me angrier about thinking that. Then my eyes automatically found her in the crowd, she was discussing something with other people. Then she went to meet Rian and I could see her small smile while talking, it made me jealous. 

How can she smile with others but not with me, She sure has multiple personality issues. Then she met Raya and I can see how excited Raya was, huh only if you knew the real her Raya. She is not what you think she is, I scoffed again, but then again she gave a small smile to Raya too. Looks like she is that hateful towards me only.

I continued drinking again and then when I saw her again, she was looking surprised or somehow frozen I would say. I wondered what is that made her like that, after some time I saw tears in her eyes making her look vulnerable, that look shook something in my heart. I don't know why but wanted to know the reason for those tears and remove them from her eyes.

Rian and Raya tried to talk to her but she didn't reply, I stood up from my seat and moved towards her observing her reactions. Then Raya shook her arm a bit and then I think she got back to her senses. After that, she gave a forced smile to them and ran towards I think the restroom. I still went ahead where Rian and Raya were standing.

Congratulating Raya on the baby I tried to ask her about Rosaline.

"What happened to Miss. Rosaline, I saw her running somewhere. Is there any problem?", I tried to be as much nonchalant as possible.

Raya replied, "We don't know, we are also wondering what had happened. One moment we were all smiling and the next moment she was crying. We just informed her about my pregnancy and then that is what happened. Maybe she remembered or saw something. Don't know."

"Oh, I see," I said.

" But why are you too interested in her? Is there something we are missing? Huh?" Rian said with a grin.

"No, nothing bro, I just saw her running and thought to ask you, nothing else. You know me, I don't care about women apart from my friends and family." I replied in my defense.

"But someone will change that someday", Raya replied with a grin and Rian followed her.

"Whatever, let's see", I said and excused them.
