Valerie woke up next to Bill, feeling his hand gently stroking her hair. She smiled as she met his gaze, her heart skipping a beat at the sight of his loving expression. He leaned in and gave her a tender peck on the lips.
"Good morning, angel," Bill whispered, his voice filled with affection.
"Good morning," Valerie replied, her voice soft and filled with warmth. She snuggled closer to him, savoring the comfort of their shared moment.
Bill reluctantly pulled away, his eyes gleaming with fondness. "I need to take a shower," he said with a playful grin. "But how about we go out for breakfast afterwards?"
Valerie nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. She loved their time together, and the idea of starting the day with a delicious meal made her stomach growl in anticipation.
As Bill stepped into the shower, Valerie decided to give April a call on FaceTime. She was eager to share her excitement and couldn't wait to hear about how April's night went with Tom. The call connected, and April's sleepy face appeared on the screen.
"Hey, my love!" Valerie greeted her with a beaming smile. "Guess what? Last night with Bill was absolutely amazing!"
April's eyes widened, her own smile spreading across her face. "Oh my goodness, Val! Spill the details! I want to hear everything!"
Valerie couldn't contain her enthusiasm as she began recounting the incredible moments she had shared with Bill. She described their deep conversations, their passionate kisses, and the undeniable connection that had grown between them. Valerie's voice was filled with joy, her eyes sparkling with happiness.
"I can't believe how lucky I am, April," Valerie gushed. "Bill is such an incredible guy, and being with him feels so right. I'm on cloud nine!"
April couldn't help but share in Valerie's excitement. "I'm so happy for you, Val! It sounds like you two had an amazing time together. You deserve all the happiness in the world."
Curiosity filled Valerie's eyes as she noticed Tom sleeping beside April on the call. She couldn't help but grin mischievously. "And what about you, my love? I see a certain someone sleeping next to you. Spill the tea!"
April blushed, her cheeks turning a shade of pink. "Well, let's just say that Tom and I had quite the night too," she said, a playful glint in her eyes. "Things got a little steamy."
Valerie laughed, leaning closer to the screen. "Oh, spill all the juicy details, April! I want to know everything!"
April playfully rolled her eyes. "I'll tell you later, when we're not on FaceTime and I can give you all the spicy details. Let's just say that Tom and I definitely rekindled some sparks."
The two friends continued to chat, sharing their experiences from the night before and giggling like schoolgirls. Their bond was strengthened by their shared stories and the support they offered each other. They couldn't have been happier for one another.
After a while, Valerie reluctantly ended the call with April, promising to catch up in person soon. She couldn't wait to hear the rest of April's night with Tom and share more about her night with Bill.
As Bill walked out of the shower, steam gently wafting from the bathroom, he noticed Valerie lying on his bed, engrossed in her phone. A soft smile formed on his lips as he approached her, towel wrapped around his waist.
"Hello," he greeted her once again with warmth in his voice. Valerie looked up from her phone and returned his smile.
"Hi," she replied, her eyes twinkling with affection. "I was just catching up with April. We had quite the night to share."
