Evelyn was watching the last minutes of the latest episode of her least favorite series <Bloody Moonlight> while munching on some popcorns.
<<Bloody Moonlight>> was tv series of the moment, extremely famous for its steamy R-19 scenes, sexy male leads and drama, set in a world full of Supernatural creatures.
Amazing combination, isn't it?
This tv series is set in a world called Kartos which is divided into five kingdoms: Nox, Mer, Anctus, Agis and Kur, each of them inhabited by different creatures.
-The Kingdom of Nox is made up of vampires, immortal creatures of the night who feed on blood.
Full of superiority complex and specializing in magic, they are rarely in contact with anyone outside their own kind.-The kingdom of Mer is populated by Sirens, beautiful creatures capable of bewitching and controlling others with their song.
-The kingdom of Agis, is where fairies live, ethereal individuals unable to lie.
Due to this characteristic of theirs, they always occupy a prominent and mediating position in the politics of the other kingdoms.
But not being able to lie didn't make them any less dangerous, in fact, they love to deceive people and ruin them.
- The Kingdom of Anctus populated by humans, which represents only a small part of the inhabitants of Kartos.
Lacking extraordinary physical or intellectual abilities like the other factions, humans have found solace and protection in religious beliefs.
The kingdom of Anctus is governed by the Council, a religious association commanded by the Pope.
-The kingdom of Kur in which live the shapeshifters, famed for their impetuous temper and their fighting prowess.
Unlike the others, it is not a unitary kingdom but has a more complex hierarchy: to begin with, there are different species of shapeshifters (the wolfs, the panthers, the bears...), each species is made up of numerous packs controlled by a alpha couple (in human terms we can think of them as nobility, with the title of counts) ; every pack of a specific species follows the superior alpha of that species (always in human terms we can think of them as dukes; so we will have the "wolf duke", the "bear duke"...) and all of them are under the supreme King of Kur.
Due to their warlike and strategic skills and their large numbers, this dispersive organization of power was designed by the other kingdoms, who feared them, to make the kingdom of Kur less solid.
These five kingdoms were at rest, but discrimination and hatred towards the 'different' were rampant; the tension between them was high and the various rulers were waiting for nothing more than an excuse to attack the others, possibly unleashing a bloody war and millions of innocent victims.
In this suffocating climate we find the protagonist of this series, Katherine, a young girl with an angelic face and "kind" personality who crossed into this world involuntarily.
At first she struggled with the new culture and customs and wanted to return to her original world.
But over time she found herself not only being attracted to five males of different Reigns, who were also her mates, but falling for four of them and giving up going home to be with them;
