The vampire girl frowned, biting hard her lower lips due to anxiety that was growing more every minute for the absurd life-death situation she was in, bonded with the dumbest system that could exist that instead of helping her, it made her work twice.
The only "positive" thing Evelyn could think of was that even if the psychopathic heroine was a big (GIGANTIC) problem, it was a future problem, and therefore the more time available she had, could increase, even if slightly, the miserable chances of victory of the young vampire.
It was not much, but it was the best the purple haired girl could do if she wanted to try surviving (at least) in that damn world.
Another problem she had to face, an imminent problem unluckily, was the red moon, the terrorist organization secretly led by her psychotic brother Claude, thanks to which he would be able to become one of the most powerful supernatural creatures in the world.
She, a young average woman who until a while ago was on her bed, having the best sleep of her damn short life e who was transported into this freaky world which shouldn't even exist, with an impossible mission given to her by some unknown gods.
And unfortunately for Evelyn (and for the inhabitants of that world) she seemed the only one who could do anything about it.
All without having the possibility to object, as that would result in his death.
'Great. Overthinking is just the thing I need!' thought sarcastically the vampire crown princess, while pinching her nose bridge and trying to re-organize her thoughts (a very difficult thing btw considering that a lot of things had happened that she considered impossible before in tour of less than two hours, which would have driven anyone mad).
'One step at time. It will all go well.' chanted Evelyn in her mind, taking deep breaths to calm herself with her eyes closed.
Luckily this method worked, as it had every time she had used it in her real life to try to survive her chronic anxiety.
After calming herself, her mind became clearer, more focused and (finally) she could dedicate all her attention on the unwanted matter that awaited her.
Evelyn had now come to the conclusion that the first and most important step to take was to stop the expansion of the red moon organization, the true center of power of the first male lead (Claude) of bloody moonlight
In fact, thinking about it, Claude Le Rouge wasn't much of a comparison to the other male leads: he wasn't the most beautiful, he wasn't the wittiest, he wasn't a good leader, he wasn't the best warriors or magician; the only thing that made him more powerful than others, unstoppable to say the least, (and thus he became the greedy white lotus' most dangerous pawn and favorite mate) was the red moon organization, which he controlled secretly in the shadows for his own sinister purposes .
Claude's power and prestige had allowed Katherine, the heroine, to easily insinuate herself first at court and then in the politics of Kartos and from there her intelligence and her other paws did the rest.
In the original story the vampire prince was like a wound: just as a wound allows a pathogen to penetrate the body and invade it, multiplying so much that it can lead to the death of a person, so Claude's position and prestige allowed Katherine to penetrate without problems the society of Kartos and invading the world, sending it to ruin.
