Almost all of District Thriteen is destroyed, useless rubble that has no use. The rest of the citizens sit hunkered down in their homes, waiting for whatever punishment that will be inflicted. As if the war wasn't punishment enough.
The reigning silence is soon broken by the hum of vehicles. Inside those vehicles are peacekeepers, their white uniforms standing out in the gray environment. As soon as they arrive, they leave, not after grabbing the closest child. Children, that is all they're after.
The parents of those children are left in shock as the vehicles drive off into the sunset. The sunset...presumably peaceful, but for what is coming, it marks nothing but death.
In less than an hour, bombers fly in and drop bombs. Large chemical bombs, meant to take everything out in its wake of destruction, leaving the place radioactive. From space, long forgotten satellites see only a white dot. In less than a second, all of District Thirteen is destroyed. Lying in its final resting place, under piles of radioactive waste.
The unsuspecting prisoners hold the only hopes and promises that remain. Most promises though, will be left untouched.

TASK: This week, your task is to explain the last moments of your tributes life in District Thirteen. They must be captured by the peacekeepers and thrown into the vehicles and then drive off. And then, put simply, District Thirteen is blown to smithereens. The news can be delivered however you'd like, but it must be in there somewhere.
DEATHS: Because this is a pre-games task, there are no entry deaths, but if you want to, you can send in THREE ballot deaths at most, but it is not required.
DEADLINE: Tuesday, March 22th at 6 PM PST
WORD LIMIT: 2000 words
PLEASE READ: You may make your first drafts however you'd like it to be, but please make your final draft in Wattpad and then copy and paste it into the email. This is because Wattpads formatting is really crummy and if you use the formatting from Microsoft Word or something like that...

this. Now this wouldn't be so bad if your paragraphs weren't really long, but they are, so it is really hard to tell when the next paragraph is or not, and I don't want to try to figure out all the formatting.
