The remaining tributes filled the streets almost as fast as the mutts did, and most were lucky they got out alive. Unfortunately, to the shock of the gamemakers, three unlucky tributes didn't make it out as fast as they could have.
Melody Rupert
Melody will forever be known as the first to fall to a mutt, unfortunately. Her demise wasn't quick, as she put up a fight. Having had ventured out into the streets with her allies, she was quickly caught off guard by a group of mutts, featuring Juniper, Georgina and Alecks. Her group was forced to abandon her as soon as she was bitten, and she was left alone. She fought hard to get out, but eventually met her demise to Alecks. Unofficially, Alecks had another victim.
Oliver Gray
Oliver spotted Melody's group wandering the streets and moved down in hopes of joining the trio. As he exited the building, he only found Melody's lifeless body lying on the dusty road. In shock, he attempted to run back to the building, but he ran into her allies. Peter, in surprise, lashed out at Oliver with his knife, ending short life. Peter never meant for it to happen.
Emily Blanchard
Emily, curious as all the other tributes, wandered down into the streets. She was one of the last to do so, as she wanted to be sure that it was safe. By the time she actually went out, the mutts were only just beginning to appear. The first she saw was Charity, the once pristine girl now a shredded corpse. Emily took care of Charity with ease, but a nearby mutt, one resembling Grady, caught her off guard and ended her life with a quick bite to the neck. Grady never would've done it if he were still alive.
