Female Tribute Eight - Jensen Turner

Name: Jensen Turner

Appearance: Jensen has light brown hair that is usually worn up in a ponytail. Her green eyes once lit up with the brightness of all the stars – so full of spirit and hope for a better tomorrow – but now they have dulled to a dim glow. She has a small scar on the bridge of her nose, evidence of where it was once broken. She is 5'8". Although her body is thin it is not shapeless. She is very strong for someone who has been rotting in a jail cell for a while. She has a natural beauty about her; however she doesn't see it in herself. Her small mouth houses a beautiful smile, although it is one that she rarely shares.

Personality: Before the rebellion, Jensen was fun loving, kind and very easy to get along with. She loved serving others, and gave more of herself to helping others than worrying about her own well being. She held an undying hope for a better future. When the war broke out, Jensen became more outspoken. She turned into a fighter, always standing up for what she believed in. Her time in prison has made her more reserved, her smile died and her laughter ceased. But this doesn't mean that she will ever stop her fight against the Capitol.

Other: During the rebellion Jensen was a big leader. She fought for freedom and for a better life. She was not one to hold her tongue about her hatred of the Capitol. She became a soldier, leading many into the depths of battle and winning many of her encounters with the Capitol. When things started turning south for District 13 was when Jensen lost her flame. She watched as enemy soldiers tore her mother, father, and little sister from her home and killed them, execution style. She was then captured and brought to the prison. She was defeated – broken. She had only been there a few weeks when she was 'drawn' to compete in the games, although she is fairly certain that her participation is a lot less random than it appears.
