At seventh grade I didn't have a whole bunch of friends but I tended to try to help people a lot.

So when Makenzie Dalton asked for me to help her to stick her locker mirror to its proper place on her door, I was glad to assist.

All it took was a firm push to crack that fragile mirror against the metal door, sending shards of glass to my feet.

Makenzie was fine with it, her father had a ton of money so she could easily busy a new seven dollar mirror. But it didn't take long for me to realize from that point on I was pretty much cursed.

Ever heard of crack a mirror and you'll have seven years of bad luck? I found that rather than years, I would have to endure heartaches, seven times to be exact.

Seven years of bad luck was mainstream; I got stuck with seven boys of bad luck.
