I walked into my house heading straight upstairs to my room not missing my mom and step dad giggling and play fighting in bed.
I felt irritation bubble up in my body.
Gosh why is everything bothering me today.
My mom and my dad never married but they broke up when I was 3 I don't remember much. I only see my dad sometimes and when I do I stay at his house while he works to pay child support, he works job to job.
I honestly don't know what happened between my dad and mom and I honestly don't care. When I was five my step dad and my mom met. It was my fault really he was selling flowers on the street on Mother's Day and me and my bestfriend pointed it out and then they became friends then dated then they married then he started to hit. Even when my mom got pregnant with my brother and sister he would still hit her and she would still give chance after chance.
My brother and my sister would come to my room whenever they fought and I would have to put on the tv and they'd cry silently. It was heart-wrenching.
He never really laid his hands on us though and the sad part is he didn't do drugs or drink. He was just fucking crazy.
