A complicated story of love

Chapter 1

I found myself on another date. The man in front of me looked cold and mean.
"So, um, Tom." I started.
"It's Jim." He got up and left.
I guess I'm paying again. I sighed. My phone rang and I quickly picked it up.
"Mar?" Angelica's voice asked.
"What up Jelly?" I asked.
"You out another date?" She asked.
"Not anymore." I sighed.
"What happened?" Her voice was concerned.
"I thought his name was Tim, then he said it was Jim and left."
"Oh Mar." She sighed.
This had been the 5th date this week, it was Friday. That's a date every night. So far, all my dates ended in a angry date and a confused Miss Reynolds. I really need to go back Lewis
"Mar?" Angelica asked, snapping me out of my thoughts, "did you hear me?"
I shook my head before realizing she couldn't see me. "No."
"I asked if you wanna come over."
"Oh erm sure. I have nothing else to do."
"Alright, see you soon."
"See you."
I quickly hung up.
"Waiter!" I called. My waiter quickly came by. "Can I get a check?" I asked. He nodded.
I quickly paid and left. My black Mercedes purred to life. I turned on Lin Man Miranda the musical. "Phillipa Soo, it's a pleasure to meet you." I sang quietly as "Helpless" played.
I pulled up to the dorms and walked up to Angelica's dorm with her sisters. "Jelly?" I asked as I knocked on the door. Eliza answered as Angelica chased Peggy around the house. "Hi." I waved awkwardly. It was always weird when one of the younger sisters opened the door. "Hi Maria." She waved before letting me in.
"Thank you." She nodded at me.
"Angelica! Maria is here!" Eliza shouted at her sister.
"Mar!" Angelica quickly ran over to me and hugged me before pulling me back to scan me over. She's done this ever since she found out about James. She knows he gone, but always needs to check.
I was still dressed in my red dress that showed just the right amount of cleavage and was sleeveless. My makeup was dark eyeshadow and red lipstick. My black small purse glued to my side.
"Hi Jelly." I hugged back.
"Listen, I want you to meet my family officially. They have all heard of you and seen you, but they have never actually met you." She chewed on her bottom lip nervously.
"What time?" I sighed.
"Thank you!" Her voice was full of happiness, this must have meant a lot to her.
"Time?" I asked again.
"Oh! Tomorrow at six!" She smiled.
"Come on, let's go watch a movie."
She nodded. She made some quick popcorn as I went to her bedroom to grab my extra set of clothes there.
I grabbed the black pajama pants with red lipstick prints all over it with the matching white shirt that said 'Kiss me' with a kiss print next to it. They were hidden in the back of the closet. I changed quickly than brushed through my hair with her brush.
Angelica came in to change and I went to go sit on the couch. I wrapped a fuzzy blanket around me, it was red, she got it for me specially. She came back in white pajama pants with baby pink paw prints on it matched with a pink shirt that says 'I'm pawsome' and a white paw print. She sits next to me and wraps a light pink fuzzy blanket around herself.
We grabbed the popcorn and snuggled it in the middle of us. "What you wanna watch?" She asked. "Lin Man Miranda the musical or Beauty and the Beast." I stated. "Beauty and the Beast." She agreed. As the movie started, I snuggled into her side and her head dropped on mine.
My eyes started drooping as Mrs Pot was singing. I snuggled into Angelica more before falling asleep.
