Chapter 4

"Leave him......alone"

The girls and Sonic turn their attention to the one who's talking and it was Shadow. And he was standing in front of them, he then walked to them and grab sonic's arm and pulled him a little closer to him.

"Don't you have any better things to do then bother him?" Shadow asked as she look at the girls trying not to straggle them or either punched them.

"And who are you supposed to be?" one of girls asked.

"That's non of your damn business, just leave him alone" Shadow said as he keep Sonic close to him.

"Well i don't know who you are but your handsome~" one of the girls said. and she is also the leader of that mean girl group.

She's a light brown hedgehog  with dark brown wavy long hair, she wears pink crop top with a white crop top jacket and a black checkered short skirt and she has like an expensive necklace and bracelets and light brown high heels boots.

She then start to walk towards them and walked around them looking up and down at Shadow, which make Shadow watch her every more and a lot uncomfortable by her lust look. And Sonic just look at the two never notice how close him and shadow are. 

"What's your name handsome boy?~" the light brown female hedgehog asked with a lust smirk. And Shadow just groaned lowly.

"It's non of your business, now if you excuse me I'm taking sonic with me" Shadow said he then soon pick sonic up gently in bridal style not wanting to stay there for another god damn minute.

The girl's just watch the two walked off, but that female hedgehog smirked and was interested in the ebony hedgehog. Soon sonic and shadow were walking away from the nurses office. And Sonic's leg will be fine in a few days nothing to serious.

"Thanks Shadow for saving me back there" the blue hedgehog said with a soft smile placed on his face.

"No problem, but who are they anyway?" Shadow asked sonic as he look straight into sonic's emerald eyes. And sonic sighs.

"Those are the popular girls and they hate ever since i first came here, it's like I'm their enemy and threat which clearly i didn't do anything. Well......maybe I think" Sonic said as he scratch his neck with a nervous smile and a nervous laugh.

While Shadow just looks at Sonic listening to him well, not fully. But he was listening to him.

"I see maybe their jealous of you" Shadow said guessing that could be why those girls always bullied him, and he won't let that happen again. He'll make sure of that.

Then Shadow got dragged by Sonic out of nowhere, and dragged him to their next class. Shadow didn't mind really he liked Sonic dragged him around, even when their hands intertwined with each other. And will make sure it stays that way maybe in an unexpected way.

From afar someone was watching them walking away. They were glaring at the sapphire hedgehog not liking holding hands with the ebony hedgehog. That person smirked on having a sinister idea in their head and they will make Sonic to stay away from Shadow..

Shadow's POV
School is finally over and im relived for that. The students starts to annoyed me. And as always the lessons are too easy, didn't know why i agree to join this school.

Then i felt a hand hold my shoulder. I groaned lowly hoping it's not one of those bitches. I turn my head slightly and it was Rouge who's standing behind me.

I just stayed quiet lookin at her then i spoke "what do you want bat?" She get her hand off my shoulder. As i look at her waiting for her answer.

"Well i just got a call from the Commander that there's a killer at West High and we need to investigate there" Rouge said as she took out her phone showing the task that we have to do.
