Fallen Apart~
With a sad, sad smile
And a heavy heart
She let the world fall apart beneath her
The world she loved with so much honesty
She let it crumble to pieces in front of her
The world that meant nothing
A blank, dirty, grey canvas
Just an empty shell of what it used to be
It held no color
No sound
Just heartache and pain
She let it fall away so she could float
She could float on the cloud-like dream that she could fix him
Fix his temper, his fury, his anger
He was in no way ready to change
He let her world fall apart so he could pretend to pick up the shards
And let her believe that he was just as in love with her and her world
When really, he took the shattered love and created a new world for her
One full of agony and beatings and abuse
She thought she could change him
She was too scared to leave
To think what he may do
So she let her world fall apart
She let it all fall away
So she could float on his angry, lightning filled cloud.
