Chapter 6

Yoongi doesn't kiss Taehyung immediately after his conversation with Namjoon. He thinks about everything Namjoon said and realized Taehyung was like a new born. The first time he heard sirens, Taehyung ears had perked up and he growled holding Yoongi close to him.

He knows Taehyung grew up isolated from humans his entire life, so he didn't want to jump into things. It happens slowly, Yoongi first noticed Taehyung glance at his lips before looking away. When they cuddle Taehyung will lick his lips before pursing them, then gives Yoongi a headbutt.

It comes after two months of dating. Yoongi is dying laughter as Taehyung tries to swim out of the pond he fell in. They came to the park near the dorm rooms to feed the ducks since Taehyung had never.

"Come on let's go back to my dorm to clean you up," Yoongi giggles as he takes his hand.

"Why were they aggressive? Did they not like me?" Taehyung asks sadly.

"They wanted to food in your jacket,"Yoongi says.

"I didn't think they'd be so mean."

"Is the big kitty afraid of some ducks?" Yoongi teases.

"'M not a Kitty," Taehyung pouts.

Yoongi smiles at his cuteness.

Once their inside Yoongi's dorm, he grabs the hybrid some clothes giving him a chance to change. When Taehyung comes out of the bathroom, he looks flustered.

"What up?" Yoongi asks noticing his red cheeks.

"They smell like you. It makes me happy smelling like you," Taehyung whispers.

Yoongi waves him over to sit on the sofa. Once Taehyung sits, Yoongi bring him into a hug, kissing the top of his head.

"You look adorable in my clothes. You can keep them if you want."

"Really? Are. You sure?" Taehyung speaks softly.

"Of course. I like when you wear my stuff," Yoongi blushes.

Taehyung puts and he nuzzles Yoongi.

"Okay down kitty, don't get to excited," Yoongi jokes.

"Can we watch more movies?"Taehyung asks as he lays against Yoongi.

Yoongi nods and turns on a random movie. They sit in silence for a while enjoying the movie as the cuddle. When the movie is almost done, Yoongi feels Taehyung purr. His constant soft purrs lull him to sleep.

Yoongi is awaken by someone shaking him, when he opens his eyes he sees Hoseok standing over him.

"Hey, it's almost midnight. I didn't want you to sleep on the sofa," He whispers.

"Thanks," Yoongi replies.

Yoongi shakes Taehyung awake gently not wanting to trigger his flight response. Taehyung whines before opening his eyes.

"Hey kitty," Yoongi mumbles. "It's almost midnight-"

"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to fall asleep. I can go," Taehyung stands quickly.

"Why don't you stay?" Yoongi says holding Taehyung's wrist. "It's late and you dorm is too far."

"Are you sure? Your RA won't say anything?" Taehyung asks softly.

"No, he'll be fine with it. Let's go to my bed," Yoongi yawns.

Once their laying down, Yoongi buries himself into his blankets waiting for Taehyung to join.

"You know, you call me kitty but I think you look more like a kitty than I do," Taehyung smiles.

Yoongi frowns, "Why do people say that! I don't look like a cat."

Taehyung smiles, "I thought you were a cat hybrid when I first saw you."

"Is that why you wanted to mate with me?"

"No. I thought you were pretty. Once Namjoon told me squirrels weren't something humans wanted, I realized you weren't hiding you ears. I still thought you were the prettiest person I've ever seen," Taehyung says softly, avoiding Yoongi's gaze.

Yoongi places a hand on Taehyung's cheek before leaning in and kissing him softly. When he pulls back Taehyung stares at him shocked, blinking rapidly.

"Wh-what was that?" Taehyung whispers.

"It's called a kiss. It's something humans do to the people they have relationships with" Yoongi tries to explain.

"That made my tummy feel weird."

"Weird how?"

"Like when you took me to the amusement park and we went on those spinning cups, but not like I want to throw up. I feel warm too, but not embarrassed. I don't know."

Yoongi smiles, "Like butterflies in your tummy?"

Taehyung's eyes light up, "Yes! Like that! Have you eaten butterflies before?"

Yoongi laughs, "No it's just a way to express how we feel."

"Can you do it again?" Taehyung asks shyly.

Yoongi leans forward connecting their lips again.

"Wow," Taehyung whispers into the night.
