I'm also aware I said he's older than the others in chapter 3, but he only said it because he both looks and sounds older, so he took it to an advantage

Lillith also thinks he's an adult in this au, and she's never seen his face

After the encounter with the golden gaurd yesterday, or hunter, I couldn't stop thinking about him, if he was okay, what happened to him, his scar. I picked up my scroll and texted Luz

🌺Willow🌺: "Hey Luz, can I come over?"

Luzura: "sure!"

🌺Willow🌺: "thanks! See you at 8?"

Luzura: "sure!"

I put down my scroll and got ready, I put my hair in a ponytail and then packed some stuff in a small messenger bag, I looked at the clock

"7:45"

I better get going.. I picked up my bag and pulled the strap over my head and on my shoulder, I grabbed clover and then flew off to the owl house

Once I reached the owl house, hooty alerted Luz I had arrived and she opened the door, she could tell I wasn't in the completely happy mood I normally always was, she invited me in and we sat down

Willow: "Luz I saw the golden gaurd yesterday at the market, like after he escaped and I went home"

Luz: "then why do you look so sad about it?"

Willow: "I saw his face, he looks like a kid"

Luz: "HE WHAT!?"

willow: "calm down Luz-"

Luz: "Right, sorry, continue"

Willow: "when I saw him, he was shaking a lot, and holding his arm"

Luz stayed quite, trying to take in the information, she nodded at me so I took a deep breath to continue with the story

Willow: "well, I took him to Viney and he had a chunk taken out of his shoulder, a deep and Finley cut line right before his wrist, and a really bad burn in his hand"

Luz: "wait.. what?"

Luz then covered her mouth in shock, her eyes were wide

Willow: "he looked younger than us, Luz"

I saw a few tears of shock appear in her eyes, none of them fell, but it made her eyes shine. I tell Luz a couple more of our observations, like his scar and that his uncle is belos, and how I figured out he was the golden gaurd

Luz: "so what your trying to tell me, is that the 'big tough' golden gaurd is younger than us, most likely abused by his uncle, and traumatized..?"

I nod my head at Luz, she seemed scared, or worried, concerned even

Luz: "that is a lot to take in.."

Willow: "should we tell the others?"

Luz nodded her head, I took out my scroll and invited Amity and Gus over to the owl house

~Time skip after they arrive and it's explained~

Amity+Gus: "WHAT!?"

they were completely shocked, I also explained how he acted when talking about it, he seemed scared to talk about his uncle, and his past attempts to run away, eda came down the stairs and looked at us, she was rightly confused
