Rimuru's POV

Today is the day that the sports festival happend! I was busy putting up food stands and signs that i didn't notice the students flooding in. Midnight then called me over to stand by at the battle ring for a speech. We wait till the stadium wss filled and midnight started to give a speech for the contestants.

After Midnight finished her speech, she introduced me as the special guest for the event. The crowd cheered, and I stepped up to the microphone.

"Greetings, students of this prestigious academy. I am Rimuru Tempest, It's an honor to be here as a special guest for this year's sports festival. I've heard so much about the incredible talents and abilities displayed by the students here, and I'm looking forward to witnessing them in action firsthand!"

The crowd erupted into applause, and I continued.

"I also want to take a moment to thank Midnight and the rest of the faculty for their hard work in organizing this event. It's not easy to bring so many people together and coordinate such a wide range of activities, but you've all done an amazing job and I'm sure the students will have an incredible time today."

As I finished my speech, the crowd cheered even louder and I stepped down to the sound of thunderous applause. It was clear that the sports festival was going to be a huge success, and I couldn't wait to see what the talented students of this academy were capable of.

As i sat down to watch as someone called me"Rimuru-sensei!" It was midoriya."midoriya-kun shouldn't you be waiting at the battle ring?"i said. He looked like he was abit worried"don't worry midoriya-kun, it's just a sports festival after all. I'm sure noone will get hurt badly. You have me! Remember?" I said.

Midoriya sighed in relief and gave me a smile. "Right! I'm sorry for worrying too much, sensei," he said. "I smiled back at Midoriya. "No need to apologize, Midoriya-kun. It's always better to be cautious," I said. "But now, it's time for you to go to the battle ring and do your bestWe chatted for a few more minutes, talking about the upcoming battles and his own strategy. I gave him some advice and wished him good luck before he hurried off to the battle ring.

Left alone again, I turned my attention back to the sports festival. I had to admit, it was pretty entertaining to watch. Students from different classes were battling it out with their quirks and skills, each one trying to come out on top.

But as the fights continued, my mind couldn't help but wander. I wondered if I could participate in this festival too, using my own skills and abilities. Of course, I wasn't a student in any class, but I was a powerful slime with unique powers.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice that someone else had joined me on the couch. "Rimuru-sensei, are you watching the sports festival too?" It was Tsuyu, one of my student.

I smiled at her. "Yes, it's quite interesting. Are you enjoying it?"

She nodded. "Yes, it's fun to watch and learn from other students' techniques. Speaking of which, are you planning to participate in the festival next year?"

I blinked in surprise. "Me? Participate in the festival?"

Tsuyu grinned. "Well, why not? You're strong and unique, and I'm sure you'll give other students a good challenge."

I chuckled. "I appreciate the vote of confidence, Tsuyu. But I don't think I'm allowed to participate since I'm not a student here."

She shrugged. "Never hurts to try, right? Plus, who knows, maybe the rules can be bend a little for a slime."

I laughed, feeling grateful for her encouragement. Maybe she was right. Maybe I could find a way to participate in the sports festival next year. It was a crazy idea, but then again, I was a crazy slime with crazy powers. Anything was possible.

Next on the battle ring was Midoriya vs Todoroki, everything seems fine as they were fighting. But then it starts to get serious when midoriya broke all his fingers and todoroki pushed his qiurk all out on midoriya. I stood up sweating"ISN'T THIS SUPPOSED TO BE A SPORTS FESTIVAL!? THATS KILLING!" I shouted as they were about to clash into eachother.

But just as their attacks collided, a sudden burst of energy erupted from their clash and sent shockwaves throughout the stadium. The ground shook and the audience gasped in amazement as they witnessed the incredible power of both Midoriya and Todoroki. I watched in awe as the two fighters struggled against each other, their powers colliding in an explosive display of strength.(i write this to be a little bit more different than the original storyline, as you can see there's no teahcer stoping them like in anime so hehe)

As the dust settledwas left breathless as a blinding light enveloped the two fighters. I shielded my eyes and watched in amazement as the light slowly faded, revealing Midoriya and Todoroki standing in the center of the ring, both panting heavily.

I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed. It was as if their clash had triggered something extraordinary, something that went beyond their individual quirks. A sense of awe and respect filled me as I saw the determination and passion in their eyes.

But then, a voice interrupted my thoughts. It was the announcer, declaring the end of the match and naming Todoroki as the victor. Midoriya fell to the ground, his body exhausted and battered from the intense battle.

I couldn't help but feel frustrated and angry. It wasn't fair to see such talented and hard-working individuals fight until they were completely spent and injured. This wasn't a real battle, it was supposed to be a showcase of their abilities and potential.

As I left the stadium, I couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment. It was clear to me that the current system was flawed and needed to be changed. I made a mental note to talk to the officials and see if there was a way to make the Sports Festival safer for everyone involved.

After all, the purpose of sports should be to bring people together and celebrate their skills, not to hurt or injure one another. I promised midoriya that noone will be injured badly and i broke it, i am NOT letting this happend again.

I got to the infermary and rushed straight to both midoriya and todoroki."you stupid children! You had me worry sick! Why would you clashed into eachother like that for a sport festival! You could've died!" I said as i slapped them both and splashes healing potions on them."sorry Rimuru-sensei. Me and todoroki had a little bit of emotional talk hehe"Midoriya said. I then ran in and embraced them both.

"I'm just glad you two are okay. Next time, think about the consequences before participating in such reckless behavior," I scolded them.They both nodded in agreement and I released them from my embrace. "Now, let's get you two patched up so you can get some rest and recover," I said, examining their injuries and applying more healing potions.

As I worked, Midoriya and Todoroki recounted their emotional conversation and I couldn't help but smile at their newfound understanding and bond. "I'm glad you two were able to talk and reconcile your differences," I said, finishing up.

Midoriya and Todoroki thanked me, still looking a bit guilty for causing me so much worry. "Don't worry about it too much. Just promise me you'll be more careful from now on," I said, gently ruffling their hair.

They both nodded again and I watched them settle into their beds, glad that they were safe and on the road to recovery.

I could just use full potion but i want their body to improved in recovery. I walked out of the room and wondered what will be waiting for me in the future.
