Epistles,
verses dripping ink and stained in tears
the beloved I can no longer call my own,
I write to him in you, the truth he cannot know!
I had forever known, the moon should never dream of the sun,
but entwined with him in love, it wasn't a desire I could shun,
it had been thus easy to forget,
that the moon shall one day eclipse the sun!

The loudness as the fragility shattered broke everything like it was made of glass,
he wouldn't know but I stood watching him, held together as he fell apart
the incessant surge of love stayed imprisoned behind venomous chains,
It couldn't be let to deter me now,
I had to destroy our world to keep him safe!
