Neytiri's pov: "Lo'ak!" I shout. "Neteyam!" Jake says. I turn to look at him as he does me. We both get up. "I need to talk to him. Alone." I say, we walk away to talk. I hear my boys ask if they can leave too. I stop to hear what they say. "Yes, go ahead." Ronal says, holding onto Aonung's hand. Lei'wa asks.
Lei'wa's pov: "Can I go to Sanža?" Tonowari just stares at me. Ronal talks for him. "You're not leaving. You are our property." She says. "We don't want you running away. Again." She shakes her head. I get up anyway and call Sanža. I go to my Secret place. My safe place.
Ronal's pov: I watch as Lei'wa flys away on her ikran. The sully boy children talk about her. "I wonder who they're choosing," The eldest says. "Hopefully it will be me." The Lo'ak boy rolls his eyes and continued to walk. The eldest boy made sure no one was watching. He looked my way. I looked down.
Neteyam's pov: I made sure no one saw me leave. I go out behind all the people's homes and call my ikran. I go to where Lei'wa most likely is. I see her, she's feeding her ikran again. "Lei'wa," I say. I might've frightened her by the way she gasped and grabbed her knife. "Oh, Neteyam." She sighs. "What are you doing here?" She says, continuing to give her ikran her attention. "We need to talk." I say. She nods, giving me her attention as our ikrans fly off somewhere. "Is it true? Did you really tell Lo'ak you'd talk to the chief?" She nods. "I did but, I don't know how I truly feel." She sighs.
Lei'wa's pov: "It was all so rushed and it happened so quickly. I didn't know what to say." Neteyam just stands there, staring. "What?" I'm getting a bit nervous. His stare has a strong hold on me. He shakes his head. "So you aren't sure you want to leave Aonung?" He asks, poking his cheek with his tongue. "No, I'm most certainly sure I want to leave Aonung," I say. "I just don't know who will be my mate next." He chuckled. "You already chose Lo'ak." I quickly glance up at him. "Neteyam. I said it was rushed. I don't know how I really feel. I mean, you're both so sweet and been through alot." He stares, once again. I look down. "I just don't know what I will do. I mean, the whole situation is pretty bad. I don't know which of you your parents will agree on. If they choose you, Lo'ak will hate everyone's guts. If they choose Lo'ak, we won't be the same anymore." My voice cracked. I gave away the fact I was crying. Neteyam walks up to me and hugs me, like Lo'ak does. "It will be fine either way. Me and Lo'ak agreed to not fight whoever gets to be with you."

you and neteyam

After a while it gets dark. "So, what do you like to do out here when you're alone?" Neteyam asks. "I like to look at the stars." I say, looking up at the stars. Me and Neteyam lie down. "What did you like to do in the forest while you were there, Teyam?" I ask. "Teyam?" He looks at me. "Sorry-" He cuts me off. "No it's fine, I just didn't know we were giving eachother nicknames now." He laughs. We laugh together. "If I'm Teyam. Then you should be Lei." He says. "That's a pretty good nickname. I like it." He smiles and looks down.
