"Mila?" A voice echoed
A gentle hand on my arm woke me up.
I look up to see Izzy standing there.
"Is there any news?" She asks sitting down next to me
"No change" I say
Vincent went into surgery the day he arrived to the hospital.
He's been unconscious ever since.
Two weeks.
Two weeks of no change and he will wake up when he wants to.
Apart of me is starting to wonder if he actually wants to wake up.
"Well since I'm here why don't you get home even if it just to freshen up" Izzy suggested
I know she's right I really did need to freshen up.
I also really don't want to leave just in case he wakes up.
"I'm fine honestly" I slightly smile
"You want a coffee or something?" She asks
"A tea if they have one" I smile
She smiles back getting up and leaving the room.
The sound of the machine beeping is a sound that will forever haunt me.
I still find myself even now falling asleep and waking up forgetting he is still unconscious.
It's so wired how he's been laying here but at the same time he looks so peaceful.
Other knock at the door and sapphire walks in with Ryder.
"Hey" she smiles walking in
Ryder follows closely behind sitting down on the other side of Vincent.
Sapphire sits down next to me pulling me into a hug.
"No change I'm guessing" she sighs
"Nope"
"Well my offer still stands" Ryder pipes up
A week ago he offered to stay here while I go home and freshen up.
Witch is nice of him and all but I'd rather stay here.
"I know" I smile
"So where's his lot?" He asks
"Lucas has work, Alex and Mateo are handling work side of stuff and Izzy is here she went to get me a tea"
"What about Linda and Frank?" Sapphire asks
"They will be here later on"
Izzy walks back in and hands me my cup before sitting next to Ryder.
"Why don't me and you walk around the hospital for a little bit" sapphire suggests
