"You are now husband and wife"
When someone tells you that it's supposed to be the happiest day of your life.
But instead I just feel numb.
It's like I'm in a movie and this isn't even real.
But the sad truth is it is real, this is my reality.
If you told me I'd be like this right now two weeks ago I wouldn't believe you.
I can feel Vincent's hand taking mine before leading us outside.
I honestly feel zoned out but I'm clearly not because I know what's going on around me.
I'm not stuck in my head to some degree.
It's like one second I'm being told I'm married and the next I'm in the car just watching the trees pass by.
"Your oddly quiet" Vincent piped up breaking the silence
I mean what am I meant to say.
Oh yeah I'm quiet cause I can't tell if I've just made the worse mistake of my life?
"Just thinking" i smile slightly
"Didn't you say something about Anna?" He questions
It really confuses me how one second he's normal like he didn't just force me into a fake marriage.
And the next he's practically a cold asshole who I'd rather not have anything to do with.
"I said I should I go see her" I mumble
He makes a sharp turning going down a street.
My mind want to know what the hell he's doing but I couldn't care less right now.
He pulls up at a house before completely stopping.
I want to ask why we're stopped so much but I don't.
I'm not scared to talk to him I'd just rather not I guess.
God I don't even know myself.
He just sits there not saying a word for a while.
It's awkward but at the same time nice.
He grabs his phone doing whatever before putting it away and finally getting out the car.
He opens my door before leading me to the house door.
As the door opens I'm face to face with Anna.
"Mila" she practically screams
I'm quickly brought into a tight hug as I feel my shoulder start getting wet.
"Anna don't cry on me" I say fight back tears of my own
"I'm sorry, it's just-" she pauses
I wipe her tears as she finally lets me and Vincent in.
