"I'm sorry what" Sapphire practically shouts

"Keep your voice down" I laugh

She just rolls her eyes as I'm laying flat on my back on the bed.

Sapphire has been on hold for what feels like forever.

She has some business to deal with and I'm guessing keeping the boss on hold isn't going to well for them.

"No listen here jackass I'm your boss so get me whatever the fuck I need and don't question"

Another pace around the room before she scoffs and hangs up.

"Everything ok?"

"Nope I hung up knowing they will shit themselves"

We both laugh as she finally sits down on the bed with me.

"So what happened last week you've been oddly quiet"

"Nothing" I try to say convincingly but it comes out more of a shaky whisper

"Who do I have to kill?"

"Why do you think you have to kill someone straight away"

"Because as you like to say I'm the over protective sister"

"So you're admitting it"

"I admit nothing of the sort"

I just laugh as she lays back making us face each other.

"So come on you've been locked up in this shit hole for a while"

"I like my shit hole"

"Come on you need to get out"

Sometimes I hate when she's right.

She stands up pulling on my hands making me sit up.

"Right get dressed even if it's a hoodie and a pair of jeans and I'll meet you downstairs"

And with that she's back downstairs leaving me to myself.

Apart of me just wants to fall asleep and never wake up.

Not that I'd want that but sometimes thoughts like this comforts me.

As I get up and finally get dressed I head downstairs.

"See you look kind of better" Sapphire smiles

"I don't"

"Yeah you're right she still looks shit" Ryder pipes up

I sarcastically laugh rolling my eyes before looking at Sapphire.

"Where's the parents" I ask

"I don't know they haven't been here for a bit"

Typical, I don't even know why I'm surprised.

They used to do this every event we went to when I was a kid.
