Much to Jess' dismay, she hadn't picked up any injuries in her attack which meant that she was fit to return to school the following Monday.

The group were sitting around an outside lunch bench and it was safe to say that the atmosphere in the school was tense.

Brittany, the girl who worked in the coffee shop that had been killed in the mall was in Luna's spanish class so the whole school was shocked to hear of one of their students being brutally murdered.

"I mean I don't know, I'm just saying it doesn't add up" Henrik said, leaning back on his hands as he sat on the table with his feet on the seat.

"It's not Sarah Feir, that's just a stupid myth" Sam said, shaking her head. Henrik had spent the last ten minutes telling the group about why he thought the infamous 'witch of Shadyside' was responsible for Jess and Brittany being attacked.

"Well Sarah Feir was a real person and she really did get hanged for witchcraft. That's a fact" Luna said to which Henrik nodded enthusiastically.

"And there's that rhyme about her that all the babysitters use to scare kids!" Henrik said, clapping his hands together like this made his theory anymore valid. "What is it again?"

"She reaches from beyond the grave to make good men her wicked slaves" Jess said to him, rolling her eyes slightly from where she sat between Raven and Lisa who both weren't listening.

Raven was probably texting Gemma who wasnt here because she had recently moved to Sunnyvale, much to the group's dismay. But luckily, she came to visit them every weekend and sometimes got the bus to Henrik's house after school, where the group hung out.

Luna's eyes widened with joy, like her and Henrik's theory was making even more sense. Henrik shared the same look of joy as he turned to look at his friend. "See? She could be possessing people from her grave"

"Oh yeah, that makes perfect sense, guys" Jess said, shaking her head at her friends.

"Yeah, I'm with Jess on this one. I think John just snapped. I mean I would snap too if I had to stay in this shit hole for what 50 years?" Sam said.

Jess nodded in agreement. She thought about John, how he had seemed like he was such a nice guy. Just the day before, they had been talking about his kids. His son was at school with them and was on the football team with Henrik.

It didn't make sense, Jess could admit that but that didnt mean that some witch was behind it. I mean a lot of people back in the 1600s got falsely accused of witchcraft. The witch theory was dumb and she was glad Sam was backing her up on this one.

The bell rang and broke her from her thoughts, making her stand up and grab her backpack along with the rest of the group.

"Meet out here at dismissal?" Lisa said, as if they didnt meet up here every single day after school to head over to Henrik's house.

"Yeah, Gemma's getting the bus to Rik's so she'll probably get there like an hour after school ends" Raven said as she started to walk in the same direction as Jess. They had the same class together.

"Okay, gaybo. We get it, Gemma talks to you more than she talks to us" Jess joked as they started to walk away from the rest of group.

Luna and Henrik were also walking to class together, still discussing their witch theory.

"Listen, I'm not saying that Sarah Feir is still alive or anything. But theres no way this is a coincidence" Luna said.

Henrik nodded in agreement. "I mean if the witch comes for one of us we have to be ready. Jess just won't agree because she was in the mall massacre but we know better" He said, putting his hand on Luna's shoulder and nodding like this was a very serious conversation.

Later that night they were all at Henrik's house, down in the basement as they normally were. Gemma had arrived not long ago and they were once again discussing the mall incident and whether or not Sarah Feir could be behind it.

Jess was getting sick of it if she was completely honest. She didn't exactly feel like talking about what happened in the mall in any capacity nevermind making up some kind of bullshit theory about it.

So that's why her, Sam, Lisa and Caitlin were sitting in the corner secluded from Henrik and Luna who were loudly explaining their theory to Gemma and Raven.

"I'm fucking dreading this pep rally tommorrow" Sam said, tossing a pretzel into her mouth. She was on the cheerleading squad and Jess and Caitlin were in band which meant that participation was mandatory. Or in other words, they were in for the worst night of their lives.

Gemma would also be at the pep rally because she was in band at Sunnyvale and so would Henrik since be was on the football team which left only Luna, Lisa and Raven at home.

"Me too, gosh. I don't know why I even joined band" Jess said, shaking her head. "I mean it makes it wat worse that this is basically a memorial now and everyone is going to be looking at me and pitying me the whole night"

"You joined band because you're a loser and people pity you anyway because . . . " Lisa said, tossing a pretzel at Jess and hitting her in the face. " . . . you're a loser"

"Yes thank you for that" she said, rolling her eyes as she picked up the pretzel from her lap and ate it, to which Lisa gave her a disgusted look.

"Anyway, whilst you guys are there we'll be running the business" She said, winking at the group. They all knew what she was talking about. Lisa and Luna had decided that it would be a good idea to start dealing drugs to make a little extra cash.

Jess didnt exactly blame them, they both didnt have a lot of money but that didnt mean she didnt think it was a terrible idea. In fact it became an even more terrible idea when Raven's older brother Timothy had an OD.

He didnt actually die but after that it was clear to the reat of the group, especially Raven, that it wasnt a good idea to keep dealing drugs but the two were persistent and continued to sell them. They just agreed to never sell to Timothy again.

"I told you you have to stop with that shit, what if another Timothy situation happens?" Caitlin said, looking at Lisa in disbelief.

"It won't. We're taking precautions" Lisa said which earned a disbelieving look from the three other girls. "Trust me, you guys. It'll all be fine" She grinned
