In the hallway, Raven, Lisa and Luna were standing beside the vending machine, looking through their pockets for any spare change.
Lisa and Luna both sighed when they came up short, realising they had no money to their name.
"How are you guys going to run a sketchy drug business and still be poor?" Raven asked as she stepped towards the vending machine.
"We're not poor, business is just slow these days" Lisa muttered. "Thanks to your brother"
"Oh, I'm sorry that Timmy OD'd, Lisa" Raven said, tapping her card and buying them all a Hershey's bar each. "On the house" She joked, handing one to each of her friends with a wide smile.
Both Lisa and Luna mumbled a quiet thank you, like two kids given candy by their mother.
The moment was broken, however, by a loud scream from along the corridor.
"Oh, shit!" Sam yelled, immediately running to grab whatever she could find to use as a weapon.
Jess quickly scrambled to help Caitlin out of her bed, screaming in fear as she tried as gently as possible to take the needle from her arm.
Sam managed to find a bed pan to use as a weapon, hitting the masked killer over the head and momentarily knocking him to the ground.
"Come on!" She yelled to Caitlin and Jess, who stood up as quickly as they could and sprinted out of the hospital room door.
"Run!" The girls yelled as they sprinted past their other friends. They all stood there dumbfounded, so they each grabbed one of their friend's arms. Jess grabbed Raven's arms, Sam grabbed Luna's arm and Caitlin grabbed Lisa's arm.
"What's going on?!" Lisa yelled, starting to run as she got dragged. She turned her head around slightly to see behind her ans instantly got an answer to her question. "Oh shit, he's back?!"
"Yes! He killed Steven" Jess explained and heard a quiet sob from Caitlin, she was clearly very upset because she hadnt spoken since the death of the boy she liked.
When they reached the reception area, they were met with the sight of 3 or 4 dead bodies surrounding the area. They all collectively covered their mouths, feeling suddenly sick.
Before they had anytime to process the scene that is unfolding in front of them, they heard running down the hallway from behind them.
They all turned around to be met with the sight of the skull face killer running towards them. Luna, thinking quickly, pushed a food cart towards him which held him off long enough for the group to run out the front door.
Most of the group managed to make it out safe but Lisa stumbled over a dead body on the ground and Caitlin tried to help her up.
They knew they weren't going to make it out the door now so the only option they had was to hide in the reception area.
They ducked down behind the counter, thinking that the killer would go after their friends.
However, in a turn of events that none of them was expecting the killer jumped over the counter, making a beeline straight for Caitlin.
It was like Caitlin was the only thing he could see, he didnt even try to stab Lisa.
Lisa noticed this and grabbed Caitlin by the sleeve and yanked her out of the way a mere second before the knife made contact with the young girl's skin.
A strangled noise of fear and anguish escaped Caitlin's lips as she dashed out of the way behind Lisa, who was leading her out of the bug double doors that lead out to the parking lot.
Just at the exact right second, an ambulance pulled up at the door, driven by a very panicked looking Jess. She stopped the large vehicle, giving Lisa and Caitlin just long enough to jump into the back doors but when she turned and looked back into the doors the two girls had just ran out of, she wished she hadn't looked.
The killer had gripped over something on the ground, letting his mask slip and revealing the face of John who Jess recognized to be the killer from the mall.
And more importantly she recognized that he was killed in the mall massacre by Sherrif Goode.
She sat there frozen, her mouth agape in shock until she felt Sam's hand repeatedly hitting her shoulder as the other girl yelled frantically at her to keep driving.
In a daze, she slammed her foot on the pedal and hit the road at the faster pace she could muster, leaving the killer stood there in their wake.
In the back of the ambulance, Lisa let out an exhausted sigh, her head tilting back against the rows and rows of medical equipment hidden behind glass cabinets.
"That was fucking terrifying" She said, still breathless from the running.
"Yeah, it was." Caitlin agreed.
"What the fuck are we going to do?" Raven muttered, sounding at a loss for any ideas.
"We're going straight to the police station" Jess said from the drivers seat, turning to look at them.
"Eyes on the road!" Sam yelled, clearly not the biggest fan of being in a vehicle that was controlled by Jess, the inexperienced driver.
"My eyes are on the road!" Jess yelled back, looking at the road quickly.
"Jesus, where is Henrik when you need him?" Sam muttered.
"Speaking off Henrik, what are we going to do? Are we picking up him and Gemma?" Luna asked.
"Absolutely not" Caitlin and Jess said at the same time as everyone else said "Yeah"
"What? So, you guys want to put more people in danger?" Jess asked, bewildered.
"Well, more people, more chance of killing these bastards" Raven said, not unfairly.
Jess let out an exasperated sigh before Lisa said "Majority rules, we're picking them up"
Jess mumbled something under her breath but didnt object and started to drive to Henrik's house.
