Chapter 22

After they called us back on stage we took a bow and some pictures. We all went back to the bus and I ran to the couch. I'm done with today, but it's only late afternoon because it was a weekend show.

"You okay?" Chris asked sitting next to me and slinging his arm over my shoulders. "No, not really." I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

"My anxiety is so bad..." I said squeezing my eyes shut, I have a headache now. Why so many problems?

I put my hand on my forehead and clenched my jaw, I hate headaches. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" Chris asked sitting up more.

"My head hurts." I said before he laid down so he was propped up against the arm of the couch and he pulled me on top of him before wrapping his arms around me.

He kissed the top of my head and started playing with my hair. Slowly, my headache started going away. I just need him to hold me, ever since I started having anxiety he was the only thing ever that calmed me down.

My mom tried to get me to go see specialists and take medication but I refused the specialists and the medicine didn't help much. Chris was always the only thing.

My mom had figured it out eventually, and even if we got in an argument and that was the reason my anxiety went up, he would always be by my side comforting me.

Even when I was sick, he's there. It was always only him. I didn't realize that I had started messing with his hand... My headache's gone though.

His hands are bigger than mine but they fit together. I know, so cliché, but true.

"Having fun there?" He asked me while laughing a little. "Weeeee." I said sarcastically which made him laugh a little, more.

We stayed like that for a while, I was comfortable but I don't know about him. I'm assuming he was because he started dozing off.

I smiled and kissed his jawline before laying my head back down on his chest and falling asleep myself.
