Chapter 62

I woke up in Christian's arms, my favorite place. He was still asleep but had a tight grip on me. It was still a little dark out, so I turned my head and glanced at the clock, 4:45.

I cuddled closer to Christian and his grip tightened.

"Are you awake?" He asked. His voice was tired and my chest felt like it was about to explode.

"Yeah.."

"What time is it?"

"Almost 5 am"

"Cool, more time to sleep."

He pulled me even closer and I had my head in the crook of his neck. He ran his hands up and down my back which made me fall asleep again.

I woke up to, "Hey Princess, get up we're going places."

I groaned and covered myself with the blankets. He laughed and pulled them off of me before leaning down and kissing me slowly.

"C'mon, it'll be worth it."

I rolled out of bed and went down the stairs to my suitcase, "Chris?"

"Yeah?"

"Where are we going?"

"Not telling."

"Okay... Then what should I wear?"

"Nothing fancy... Just casual."

"Okaaaay!" I yelled back.

I pulled out a black tank top and a red and black flannel, that I stole from Christian, and jeggings. They're like leggings but look like jeans and I'm obsessed.

I got dressed and did my hair and makeup which was just mascara and eyeliner but apparently took too long for Chris.

"C'mon beautiful, you look fine." He said leaning in the doorway with his arms crossed.

"Okay I'm done. Sheesh."

I wrapped my arms around his torso and looked at him, "How did I end up with you?"

"What do you mean?"

"You're such an amazing person and I'm just... Me... And we've gotten to the point where you want to marry me?" I got butterflies at the last part and blushed.

"What are you talking about 'just you'? You're so special Nikki and amazing and you're perfect to me just the way you are. I can't imagine being with anyone else."

I pressed my face against his chest and he kissed the top of my head and stroked my hair.

"I love you, Chris."

"I love you more, Nikki."
