Luke's POV
I couldn't sleep very well last night. All I thought about was Jades beautiful green eyes all watery and her face pale as a ghost.
I couldn't imagine what she's going through.
I feel a shifting in the bed and I quickly shut my eyes.
I couldn't see, but I could hear Jade get up and walk somewhere.
Me being the curious little shit I am, got up.
Walking to the door of my room I heard a knock at the door.
I threw on my nirvana shirt and walked to the door. Still not seeing Jade I got worried...
I open the door
"Hello mr Hemmings" a tall dark skinned police officer said
"Hello officer, what seems to be the problem?" He looks down then up. He sighs
"No problem. Just a-um- uh we heard you are close with a girl named Jade?"
He asks
"Yes. She and I are very close." I state
"Well, mr Hemmings. Do you know where She is?" He looks back and then his eyes are on me again.
I've never really liked police but knowing they are most likely here to help I am okay with them at the moment.
"Yes actually. She is staying with me. Would you like me to go get her?"
"Yes please" he says
"You can come in if you would like"
I jog back to the bedroom
Nope
I jog to the kitchen
Nope
Bathrooms?
No,
Nah,
Negatory.
Man I have A lotta bathrooms.
Living room
Well...I hear her.
That's good.
"Jade?" I say quietly
"jade" I say louder but soft.
That's when I see her.
In the corner just, sitting there.
Staring into space.
Hugging her knees.
Rocking back and forth.
All I hear her say is
"It's all my fault. I caused this. I'm sorry mom, I'm sorry dad, im sorry Jules, I'm so so so sorry. My fault. My fault. My fault. I'm evil" she whispered by the end it was more violent.
"Baby, come here" I say
"Jade um the police are here and would like to see you..." She stands up slowly
"Okay"
We walk to the door and see him on his phone.
i pull him away for a second
"Officer she is very fragile at the moment. Please don't approach the topic to harshly. Also I would like to stay by her side" he smiles
" Of course" I smile back then we walk back
*after conversation*
We have astablished that Jade will be living with me.
And he suggests we pick up all her things.
They have also found her sister and Jades mum is a miracle...she lived
She is in a coma though
"Jade, do you want to go now?"
"Sure"
