𝙸𝚇

   I woke up and groaned looking around the den to see that Owlpaw and Marigoldpaw weren't there then remembered after Gingerstar had returned she had made them warriors. 

   Owlpaw being renamed Owlgaze and Marigoldpaw being renamed Marigoldstalk. I got up slowly not wanting to go to training but it would be best if I did. 

   I approached Gingerstar with caution, she must of heard somone approaching her and turned around to face me "Oh hello Halfpaw? Are you coming here for training?" 

   "Yes," I said. 

   "Ok I will be ready in a bit just give me a moment I need to finish something up" she said then turned around and continued talking to Pigionear. 

   I decided to go out and get a few things done. I may as well practice a few killing moves of prey. I walked out and headed towards the windclan border where there should be a decent amount of prey.

    I arrived there to see it was clear of cats, I let out a sigh thank goodness no one's here. I lifted my muzzle trying to scent anything. 

   I immediately smelled a rabbit. I looked around to see it a few fox lengths away. I crouched down, staying quiet and keeping my weight even on each paw. Once I was a few fox lengths away I was about to spring at it but I heard a loud laugh and the rabbit looked up to see where it came from and ran off. 

   I stood up immediately knowing whoever did that had scared away all of the prey. I immediately saw Owlgaze. 

   I snarled as I approached her. "Awww did Halfpaw lose her prey?" Owlgaze fake pouted. 

   I snarled and unsheathed my claws and immediately saw Owlgaze back up in surprise. "Don't test me I will kick your ass" I snapped. 

   I turned around immediately and walked back to camp. Once I entered, I saw Gingerstar heading towards me. I groaned and looked at her. "Yes?" I said with annoyance. 

   "I don't like your attitude. Let's go, I can help you with training" she said, leading me outside the camp to where we would normally train. Right by the Shadowclan border where we found his body. I continued walking, not speaking a word. 

   "Ok so have you ever caught any prey before?" Gingerstar asked. 

   "Yea, with Pineneedles" 

   "Ok so not recent I want you to catch something today and bring it back to me" she said. 

   I rolled my eyes and turned around and walked away trying to catch something. What does she think I am? a dog? 

   I just walked sniffing around every now and then I finally smelled a mouse following the scent and staying light on my paws. I crouched down and waited for any good moment given. I immediately got bored of watching and sprung at the mouse slamming my paw down on it hearing a small squeak. 

   I picked it up by the tail carrying it to where I last saw Gingerstar. I immediately went back to camp to see Gingerstar talking to an unknown shecat. 

   She had a bright white pelt and 4 black paws and bright blue eyes. I looked closer at her and realized she had to be no older than me. 

   I immediately padded up to Gingerstar glaring at the shecat. She looked taken back by the look I gave her, but she immediately shrugged me off. 

   "Gingerstar. I caught this" I said lying it down in front of her paws. 

   She just looked at me and mumbled "You could do better" then went back to talking to the unknown shecat I glared at her then snapped. "I caught this because you asked me to and now you're telling me I could do better? What the hell!?" I immediately turned around and walked out of camp in anger. I need to kill something! Anything! I was only 9 moons and only knew how to hunt and barely knew any battle moves because Gingerstar was too 'busy' she probably just lay around all day.
