"Oh, hello! What a nice surprise, come on in," Daniel's mum spoke cheerily. "Daniel, guess who decided to stop by!"
Daniel shouted from his room, "Tell Finley to go to hell."
Alayah giggled, in a way comparable to only that of someone truly in love; someone who can only see flaws as something adorable, not something to work around. "He says no, he's looking for your sister," she joked.

Never had anyone before ran down the stairs so fast, but Daniel must've broken multiple world records. "A-Alayah? You said you were coming back tomorrow? I was going to give you a gift-- I was about to go buy it- I—" He took a moment to breathe - his face felt almost hotter than the prime point of a supernova, and the blush on his face was that of what only could be described as a makeup fail as poor as Miss Ashraf's.

"It's alright, you didn't have to get me anything." Not once before had she felt so in love. "Besides, I brought you back a gift."
He raised a brow. "Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah." With a soft smirk on her face, she pulled out a deformed clay Goku minifigure.
And just like that, his entire body had turned red - as if he were sunburnt a hundred times by a thousand stars. "You didn't have to..." He couldn't hold back his excitement.
She blushed, too, yet it was barely noticeable under the lack of skincare he adored. "Sorry that it's so bad; Harmony made it."
"No, I love it! Your sister's super good at this. Thanks for giving this to me, I'm never getting rid of it."
Somehow, that comment made Alayah's heart race. "R-Really? That's so sweet.."

His heart beat so fast in his chest that a doctor may think he was about to have a heart attack, but he was really just in love —ドキドキ.
"Your hair looks nice. Did you get it cut?" She tried to change the subject, mistaking his overload of love for silent shame and cringe.
"Nah, Tiernan dumped a bottle of water all over it when we were walkin' out the gate."
Oh. "How cold was it?"
"Freezing. It was like Uranus landed—" He paused to change his example. "Not like that- uh- like-"

Daniel's mother reminded the two that she was still present. "I better get going. No making any eggs, lovebirds. We've got enough kiddos in this house."
"Muuum."
Nothing here wasn't familiar to Alayah by now, she was here almost daily, but she couldn't help but have her heart pump out of her chest whenever Ms. Disha shipped them together. "Have a good day—" She mumbled, relishing in her free heartbeat asmr.

The loving, yet awkward, silence left the room void of any other sound. If they thought the other didn't like them, the sound of their heartbeats racing in sync was enough to disprove it.
Both of them had seen love described in movies, in tv shows, and even in Life Skills, but they never knew they were capable of it until they met each other. They wanted to be with each other forever — they wanted to put a word on it.
If Alayah's eye movements were aloud, you would probably be able to hear how many times she gazed into his eyes, how many times she stared at his lips and wondered how soft they were, and how many times she stared into his hands, hoping to one day hold them under a blossoming tree like in the movies. She was attracted to him in the way people are attracted to beautiful art, because to her, that's what he was.

Alike Alayah, Daniel was staring in admiration and awe at the girl who stood before him. In front of him was short, pale-skinned girl with greasy hair and a face that only a mother could love, yet he somehow found comfort and love in it. He found love in this girl – and she found it in him. Nobody could deny it anymore, it was so apparent, so bold that if it were a piece of clothing, lil naz x would be stripping out of it.

"Alayah," He began, digging his nail into his hand to find stability. "I need to tell you something."
