Chapter Six - New Feelings

Walking through the halls, in desperate search for Daniel, Alayah felt a new wave of realisation — moment of reality truly hitting her.

It would take a whole fuckin' lot to get Disha to forgive her after all of that. She had publicly humiliated him, for Christ's sake. Undoubtedly, he was in pain and hurt.

Surprisingly, or not, she knew where he was: the hidden spot behind the lift. It was their spot, and their spot alone. Thinking of it like that may have sounded corny in her mind, but it was the only way to describe it.
They would spend every opportunity there together: between classes, lunch, break, during boring classes with Mr. Miah... It was their spot.

And that's exactly where he was.

"Daniel?" Alayah murmured, having her usual voice crack in the midst of the name.
Disha tilted his head. He was facing the wall away from her, refusing to face her direction. There was a loud, continuous movement she could hear, but she couldn't pin-point it.

"I'm sorry for that... I-I really am," she almost broke into tears already. "Everyone was watching me, laughing— If I had said anything else, I'd be as hated as Menelik is by lesbians! That's a whole fucking lot!"
She leaned against a wall, respecting his wishes not to face him. The continuous movement was still able to be heard.
"The truth is, I like you. But that's less extreme than what I feel.. I think 'I love you' describes how I feel. I lay in bed at night, and imagine you cuddling into me, Daniel! I-I—"

Suddenly, the walls were repainted with a white splatter. Alayah turned to Daniel, disgusted. He looked at her with a cum-soaked, printed picture of our monarch himself — King Charles.
He took his earbuds off.

"A-Alayah?" He stuttered, realising what she had just seen. "H-How long have you been th-there?"
Alayah stormed off, into the depths of hell, known better as the 'Technology Department.'

I wonder how big he is, she thought.
