Miles Quaritch

I watched as this kid jumped at the glass snarling, growling and yelling at the camera in Navi.

"Let me out of here!" Finally some English

"Peseng is sa'nok!" He screamed throwing a chair at the mirror nevermind I guess,

"He's completely feral, thinks he's one of them." The scientist beside me spoke as I sipped my coffee watching,
I thought back to where we had recaptured him and that Navi woman as she crouched over him trying to protect him from us.

The same one that had managed to get behind us and almost kill me with her spear, goosebumps still appeared when I thought about how close she had gotten unnoticed and how far her spear lodged in the tree there was no doubt she planned to kill me. She was laid out on a table in a room down the hall from the kid's one, a large bruise on her temple was evidence for why she was sleeping. I had watched her for a bit before coming to see spider, her hair had fallen off the sides of the table as most of her braids had escaped and allowed the wavy locks to freely hang. Bruises and cuts littered her skin from fighting and her fall, but in her sleep she at least looked peaceful a look that I doubt I would ever be granted to see.

Spider's screaming and yelling over the sounds of the machine taunted me for some reason stirring emotions that I didn't want to acknowledge, I could barely stand it as the scientists spoke about his brain peaking and spider yelling that they were going to have to kill him for the information. I hadn't really noticed I had rushed out and pressed the button but now I was rushing to spit some bullshit to cover my arse as the general turned towards me eyebrows raised in a threatening look.

"General, Let me try the personal angle." She looked up at me with an annoyed look,
"He's not your son," was all she gave me but left him strapped to the machine with blood running from his nose.

I awoke with a pounding headache and a machine strapped to my face, I held myself from moving as I felt someone holding my wrist and a machine tapping away.

"I'm just checking her vitals," a demon called to someone. In one quick motion my eyes snapped open and I grabbed ahold of the human, a dizzy spell clouded my view but I pushed through it.

The human screamed dropping his tablet as I lifted him up and another human stepped into the door frame dressed in Camo holding a rifle before I threw the man across the room flying into him causing them all to trumble backwards, I ripped the machine from my face before bounding out the door kicking the humans in the process.

"Spider! Where are you my son!" I called down the hall leaning against the wall as the pounding in my head worsened and I was finding myself short of breath.

"Ma is that you?" A weak voice called from a room ahead and I found myself in a run stumbling in front of the door to a cell, there he was under the table holding his knees looking at me.

"Oh my sweet boy," I called as he dashed from his hiding place to the door placing his hands on top of where mine were, an alarm started to sound and I knew it wouldnt be long before soldiers got here, I looked at the door seperating us.
"I'll get you out, hold on."

My kick had made the door bent slightly but my second didn't have as much power as I gasped for air it was now that I looked at spider and realised he wasn't wearing his mask that meant I had been stupid enough to rip off the one thing that was helping me earlier.

"Ma are you okay?"
"I'm fine don't worry," I wheezed before ramming the door with my shoulder. The door bent almost giving way as I slumped down it as my eyes blurred as coughing racked through my body and my lungs burner searching for air.

I heard spider bang up against the door yelling for me and then I heard the loud stomps of boots running towards us, I tried to stirr some movement anything to threaten the incoming threat but nothing came other then more airless breaths. Then almost suddenly air pushed past my lips and I grabbed at the plastic and the wrist holding it sucking in more air, as my lungs tried to recover.

"Woah there princess can't have ya dying on us," that voice sent my eyes flying open looking straight into the green eyes of the colonel. I attempted to push myself further against the door but I couldn't really move any closer.

"Leave her alone," Spider hissed behind me.
"I'm not gonna hurt her I was actually just about to let you guys see each other," the demon replied opening the door and I almost fell backwards turning scrambling away from the towering male.

Spider's hand on my shoulder snapped me back as the mask fell from my face as it was still attached to the colonel. I turned to spider gripping his face between my hands softly and placing my forehead to his.

"Thank Eywa you're okay," I whispered my large statue towered spider even while kneeling beside him, I pulled a piece of his hair from his face pulling a soft smile to my lips happy to just see him.

"Speak in English," a snarl roise up my throat before I could stop it,
"Otherwise I'll have to separate you two again."

"It's alright Ma, are you okay?" A bewildered look came from the demon listening to us talk.

"I am fine little one." I hummed to him placing a hand on his head, it had been a long time since I had spoken english and I sounded incredibly foreign on my tongue. I finally turned my attention back to the demon who had pulled out a long shiny necklace with two pieces of metal dangling from it.
