"So you gonna give me a name princess?" Miles smirked down at me as Spider stirred from his sleep,

"You are not worthy of it," I hissed before taking a breath through the clear plastic. I slowly leaned forwards taking a more defensive position as Spider sat up more positioning him partially behind me.

"Princess it is then," he grinned before pulling the orange restraints from his belt.
"Let's go meet the team," stepping forwards to me holding them up to put them on. My nose crinkled in disgust and anger which also showed also by the flick of my tail, I straightened up trying to appear bigger as I stared down at the white fabric wrapping his wrist trying to hide my mark, my weak attempt of threatening his life. A thought of going for it again crosses my mind and my upper lip curled exposing my teeth.

"You've got quite the bite there princess, if you try again though I'll have to return the favour." I shifted my eyes up to meet the yellow pools challenging mine, smirking not before sliding his tongue his bottom lip something stirred in the pit of my stomach.
"You gotta wear these otherwise they won't let you outside." He stated, offering them slowly towards me, I flinched and he extended his empty hand to slow no harm. Spider grabbed them seemingly knowing that I would not admit defeat and put them on willingly for miles.

Orange was bold and unnatural it annoyed me to look at, so I held miles eyes once Spider had carefully applied the cuffs and Miles stepped forward checking them carefully watching me. Pride filled my chest as I noticed he was on edge, scared I'd pounce.

He let a stressed sigh pass and opened the doors and gestured for Spider to lead down the hallway, Miles held the middle of the restraints and led me like a Pa'li. I tried to take note of our turns and anything to help us if we were later to take run but one hallway led to another and another it was almost neverending in my mind. When we stopped I almost walked into the colonel's back stopping short of him I stared blank into the back of his head avoiding looking at his back muscles, I dreaded the feeling that swelled in my stomach.

He turned leading me into a big mostly white and grey room, there was a big window on the far side wall that showed part of the compound and the forest beyond it so close yet so far.

"This is for Brown!" The yell didn't snap me out of my trance but the fist making contact with my lip did as I tumbling into the ground. Calls of approval and reward bounced around me as I smuggled the blood dribbling out of my lip, Spider reached for me attempting to help me up.

The Colonel seemed to be momentarily shocked and fighting within himself. He was proud that his team had wanted revenge for their fallen comrades but he was responsible for our handling which meant we had to stay in relatively good shape. He began to lecture this squad about their actions, I caught the girl's eyes and smirked through the blood daring her to try again.

The first couple days had us in that open white room for an hour or two teaching our language in which I let Spider do the teaching, he had more patience than I did for these impostors. I sat by that window staring at where I imagined my home was, today it was raining and all I wanted was to feel the rain on my skin to feel clean of the machines and free of the shackles that held me down. A cough brought my attention away from the window back to the room and staring blankly at Miles, he had been the one still taking us to our room and this one.

He had also taken to bringing food to us, which I noticed his growing consern over the fact that I was not eating. I couldn't bring myself to put what they considered food in my mouth, so I ate as little as possible to make Spider happy and that was all.

"I got permission to take Spider and you outside the wall," I couldn't hide my excitement and found myself flying to my feet and stumbling under the dizziness that followed due to my malnutrition. A large four fingered hand rested on the front of my shoulder to stabilise me and it sent a heatwave rippling through my body and I quickly jerked away.

"When?" I carefully asked scared this small amount of hope would be destroyed if I let it kinder.

"This afternoon, you'll also be staying with us from now on so there will be a couple changes," was all he gave me before turning away and returning to Spider's lesson. The afternoon could not come quick enough.

"The mask has a tracker built into it and so does this collar it's also designed so you won't be able to remove it without myself or Wainsfleet." Miles had returned to Spider and I once the rain lightened up, he brought with him the conditions for our outing. Wainsfleet and himself would be going we would only be allowed to go for an hour and we were to stick close to the fence.

Miles motioned for me to step forwards so he could place the collar on me with his fingers brushing lightly over my skin raising goosebumps and small uncontrollable shutter of my breath. I had stopped being required to wear the restraints the day prior, I think they thought I was no immediate danger as long as Spider was safe.

Stepping out of the poisonous building had been my first real joy I breathed the air freely and extended my arms out catching a few light beams that escaped through the dispersing clouds. The tarr that covered the ground annoyed my feet till we got to the gate and I immediately tugged Spider out to the grass smiling digging my toes into the dirt.

"Oh Eywa I missed it out here," I hummed smiling at Spider before glancing at the bush behind him and my eyes grew with hunger. I practically ran towards the plant checking the fruit was ready, the Purple fruit smelt sweet as I plucked one throwing it to Spider.

A laugh escaped the boy as he bit into the fruit and juices spilt out and covered his face. I giggled at him, I grabbed two more and then threw one at Miles who looked confused.

"What is this?" He asked holding the fruit out.

"Tìhawnuwll, it's a sweet fruit." Spider answered him seeing I was too busy eating to answer him, Miles was hesitant to bite into it but as soon as he did his ears pinned back and noticed smile found his mouth.

"This is surprising good," he told Wainsfleet. I wanted to push further into the forest but I also didn't want to press our luck, I looked to Miles who was still enjoying his fruit when the thought struck me. Maybe we could convince these demons to change, Neytiri had Jake switch and become one of the people. I doubt they'd ever be one of the people but if they could learn Eywa maybe just maybe.
