"You're getting married to the Mikaelson princess. Very well Landon." Josie pats Landon's back. Landon smiled. "You finally get to meet her," Josie smiled at him. "I'm looking forward to it".

"We will have a festival with them today. Don't make a fool out of yourselves. Please. Also, Damon and Elena, and some other guests are coming." Stefan said. "Are you calling us fools?" Josie scoffs. "He didn't mean it like that. Just make us look good" Caroline places her hand on Stefan's chest.

"Where's Lizzie?" Caroline asked.

"She's still getting ready". Josie said. "They are almost here. She better be ready by the time they're here" Caroline scoffed.

"She will be."

It was around 9:30 when the Mikaelson"s arrived. Josie had never met Hope but when she did she was amused by her beauty.

Hope had stolen a couple glances at Josie, which were noticed by Josie. Hope had also thought Josie was beautiful. Josie was the heir, which made her even more attractive. Landon was nothing compared to Josie. Josie was the heir and a princess. She was soon be Queen after her mother and father pass. Landon was just the third son.

Landon places his hand on top of Hope's, smiling at her. Josie accidentally glances at it. Hope notices it and gently removes her hand from him. Landon shrugs it off, thinking he made Hope uncomfortable.

Lizzie takes a notice in this. She shakes her head gently. Josie was an unfaithful woman, that's how Lizzie liked to call it. Lizzie would know about Josie sneaking out of the castle and doing god knows what.

Their chambers were next to each other, Caroline and Stefan's were on the other side of the castle.

"She is marrying our brother" Lizzie whispers in Josie's ear. Josie frowns. "What are you talking about?"

Lizzie smiles softly. "I see the looks she's giving you and you can clearly see it too."

"I have no clue what your blabbering about" Josie scoffs. "Is something wrong, Josette?" Caroline whispers.

"No mother."

After dinner. There was a dance. Landon danced with Hope, Damon with Elena, Klaus with Hayley and Stefan with Caroline.

Lizzie dances alone, with a drink in her hand.

Josie danced with a few guests. "May I?" Hope interrupts. Rafael bowed, smiling at her and excused himself.

"Why would you like to dance with me princess?" Josie frowns glancing around the room. "I hear you're the heir to Salvatore's End" Hope states.

"Then you've heard correctly" Josie responds placing her hands in the air. "But you Stallions are weird," Hope stated doing the same. "You prioritize men over women."

"And you happen to be marrying one of us?" Josie chuckled. "Hey," Lizzie says. "We do not prioritize men over women."

"Historically we do." Josie states. "Men have only sat on the Mikaelson Throne. Women only inherit if their brothers are all dead. Her assumption isn't incorrect" Josie defends.

Josie looks at Hope. "Well we're ushering in a new era. One where women inherit just as men do. I will inherit Salvatore's End. You, Hope Mikaelson will inherit the Mikaelson Throne. Soon women everywhere will inherit just as their brothers do."
