"Come on Y/N hurry up. We'll be late" Lolopechka yelled, urging Y/N to get ready. Y/N pouted as she glanced at herself in the mirror "I don't really feel like going" she mumbled. "I bet you don't want to go because of HIM" Lolopechka teased. "Oh stop it. I don't care about him at all!" Y/N lied... "Yeah, right" Lolo rolled her eyes.

After an hour, they finally arrived at the Spade's Grand Ball. As they made their way through the crowd, Y/N started to sweat "Okay I'll admit it. I don't want to see him but at the same time I do" she confessed feeling embarrassed.

"Ha ha, I was right. Soooo.. do u still love him?" Lolopechka asked with a serious tone. "Maybe" Y/N blushed as she remembered her life with Lucius

Flashback

Y/N was in the arms of Lucius after a stressful day. He held her close, his embrace was a shelter from her parents who were pressuring her into an arranged marriage with a noble from the Clover Kingdom.."I don't want to go back" Y/N whispered, her voice heavy with sadness. She buried her face against Lucius' chest, hiding her tears. Lucius held her tighter and said "You won't have to my love because from now on this is your home" he said

He would always treat her like a princess, showering her with lavish gifts and spending time with her despite his busy schedule. They had so much fun being together and traveling. He was her first love, the one who made her heart shiver and claimed her innocence in a night that was both tender and unforgettable. After finding out about Lucius and his connection with the devils, she confronted him about it and it resulted in an argument which led to their separation. Despite it all, she still loved him but was afraid of getting hurt..

Back to the present

"Sheesh we're finally here" Lolopchka sighed. Y/N tried to avoid as many people as possible so she sat in a corner while Lolo and Gaja greeted the nobles. Y/N's eyes wandered until they finally settled on the sight she had longed for........the sight of Lucius, seated handsomely upon his throne.

After a few minutes, Lolopechka and Gaja managed to find Y/N in her secluded corner. They sat beside her, each with a drink in hand, and exchanged glances. Lolopechika's mischievous smile danced across her lips as she leaned closer to Y/N "Hey, guess who hasn't stopped looking at you?" she whispered.

Y/N's cheeks flushed she followed Lolo's gaze, her eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on a familiar figure across the room. Her heart skipped a beat as her gaze locked with Lucius, who was indeed checking her out
